I reserved via email because I wasn't sure if it was necessary. I received a reply quite quickly saying we were welcome and that there was still room.

What a warm welcome! We bought delicious products (meat, sausage, and cheese) in the little shop, and Natascha even wanted to bake a loaf of bread for us!

You could swim in the canal here. There are great walking routes! Otherwise, you need to be self-sufficient. Electricity and water are available, though.

We stayed two nights at the Aarenhof. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the farm shop has excellent cheese and delicious ice cream. The Aare River is very quiet, so you can still swim. It's also very peaceful. We'll be back.

A lovely farm shop with lots of products:
Alpine cheese, sliced cheese, white mould cheese, Muschtli, raclette, fondue and dried beef sausage from the Simmental
100% beef burger
Grilled sausages
Broad bean burger
from the Emmental
Risotto with various ingredients
Farm ice cream
The farmer's wife bakes bread and plaited bread to order
Homemade jams and jellies, quince syrup and Bretzeli, which is a sweet pastry
Aloe Vera products from Forever
