Don't do it!!!!!

The campsite is full of caravans where people stay long-term, or in other words, live. Sanitary facilities are very poor, outdated, and dirty. Way too expensive to stay at a campsite with our camper.

Since 2026, it has been called Camping Lausanne. Includes a free public transport card. Lausanne is easily accessible by bus 24 and the metro. Cycle path along the lake via the back exit. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. Friendly welcome, but note that it is closed between 12 and 3. There is space for camping to park in advance.

We thought this was expensive when we first booked in, but it’s a great location for walking round the lake. It also has a shop, bar and café with Lake views. 
Staff were really helpful, trying to connect to the Internet which only worked at reception or the bar. 
Facilities were dated but clean.
