Riarena is a beautiful campsite with spacious pitches, beautiful and clean sanitary facilities and a super swimming pool. We have been here for many years for a week with our grandson who lives in Lugano. The tourist tax is considerable, there is nothing you can do about it at the campsite, it is imposed on them by the municipality. On the other hand, the Ticino Pass allows you to travel freely on all types of public transport throughout Ticino. This campsite is highly recommended.

large pitches, friendly reception and excellent sanitary facilities. but I don't fully understand ASCI camping of 2023. location and camping are nothing special. in fact, under the high-voltage cables and next to an airport where (small) planes take off and land all day long. I have not seen them but heard them. for 1 night with 4 people I lost 80 CHF. not recommended.
