We parked here and spent the night. You can walk to the centre in no time and the parking fee is 9.50 pounds for four hours. We paid the standard 4.50 pounds for overnight parking, so 13 pounds in total, with a public toilet and rubbish bin nearby. Quiet car park, we were parked at the back in area E, highly recommended.

Very convenient place to walk into town, just a few minutes & very quiet at night, feels very safe. 

Attention: this place is in the clean-air-zone, need to pay online fee per each calendar day (easy, 2 days for the overnight stay. We paid 9£ per day for a van.) Parking fee comes on top (3.80£ evening 6-9pm plus the overnight fee. For us from 6pm until noon next day total 14.90£.)

Slots are down hill, need ramps. Short 6m slots but not busy.

is it true that the place is within the environmental zone. And if it turns out that your camper meets the environmental requirements. You still have to pay the highest rate because you do not have an English license plate that they can check for the requirements
