Beautifully landscaped campsite within walking distance of the center of York. However, there is also a bus stop nearby.
The reception was a bit unusual, but the older couple is not unfriendly. They are, though, somewhat distant.
The sanitary facilities have seen better days, though they are kept clean. The washing-up area is really too cramped.

Cash only. And environmentally conscious people would be better off avoiding the campsite, because ‘we don’t do recycling’.

Nice campsite, neat facilities.. but sheep next door that keep you awake all night with their bleating 🙈

Beautiful, quiet campsite. Friendly welcome. Sanitary facilities are very outdated, but clean and functional.
