Beautifully landscaped campsite, quietly situated, with spacious pitches, a 20-minute drive from the ferry. However, the toilets and showers are extremely dirty! There are no facilities, not even for emptying the campervan. You can get a drink in the café, but there's no food in the evening. The price-quality ratio is completely out of whack: we paid €46 for two people in a campervan. (I've never paid so much for so little in all of England/Ireland.)

Beautiful place and nicely situated as a first overnight stay after the boat trip to Harwich. Spacious places, dated sanitary facilities but otherwise well maintained. Friendly reception!

Nice little campsite right behind the Strangers Home Inn in Bradfield / Manningtree. 20 minutes from Harwich Ferry and fine as the first or last stop for the ferry.
