Great place for 1st and last overnight stays to the Stena line ferry. pub closed, no reception. bookings and payment online £35 per night incl. electricity. Sanitary facilities old but work well. No motorhome service point. Places are neat and partly paved. approx. 30 min drive to the ferry.
Great campsite for when you get off the boat or go to the boat; 20 min drive. simple but clean sanitary facilities. at 1 km. shop for most foodstuffs. If you drive 100 meters further and turn right into a dead-end road, you will arrive at a farm campsite on the water. very simple but beautiful on the water and cheaper than the £35 we had to pay.
lees meerGreat place to stay after and before the crossing to/from Harwich, which is a 20 minute drive from here. We were not this year on both our first and our last night and both were excellent. Booking and payment online went very smoothly. Just a pity the inn is not open this year.
