Beautiful small campsite where we only stayed one night because the weekend was fully booked. Fortunately, we arrived early in the afternoon and immediately took our bikes to the center of Chester. A beautiful cycle path along a canal with all kinds of manual locks. Highly recommended. Chester is also worth a visit, but an afternoon is enough to see the highlights. The campsite has a clean and modern small toilet block.

Beautiful location on the banks of the Shropshire Union Canal. Great walks. The owner is very friendly. We will definitely return. The Rowtan Poplars Hotel next door is also recommended as a good restaurant.

Charming campsite hidden in the backyard of a private house. Excellent sanitary facilities although one shower for women and one for men is a bit cramped. Along the adjacent canal runs a path over which you can walk to the interesting Chester (50 min) or cycle (20 min). The path is poorly maintained.
