Beautiful spot in the Peak District. There are 21 places, friendly managers, beautiful walking area. Price, including electricity, don't be alarmed: £46. With NKC card £10 discount, but still £36; We are campers and have everything with us, so in my opinion it is much too expensive. Showers are fine, empty the chemical toilet, the same.

Located directly on the Peak District nature reserve. Nice walk or bike ride along old railroad. Groceries or pub a bit away. Busy (on working days/nights) noisy road directly past the campsite. Walk via the Pennine Way to the 1948 plane crash through unspoilt nature. brisk walk 20km vv or walk to Black Peak, a slightly shorter strenuous hike. Both recommended. Just like the town of Glossop. Campsite in excellent condition, as expected from C&CC.
