Beautiful place, quiet ideal for walking and cycling. We found the town less attractive, the area is ideal for walking and cycling. If you drive from Deal to Sandwich via the private road it costs 5£.

this parking lot does not exist anymore. New houses are being built here. Martin Pfeiffer, 10 June 2019. We drove our motorhome to spend the night in a parking lot between Sandstreet and river, where you can stand overnight for free (caravans are not allowed)
