Great campsite!

Stayed here on the outward/return journey, as the first/last campsite before/after the train.
Beautiful campsite, spacious pitches, clean campsite with plenty of staff keeping an eye on things.

Campsite ideally located in relation to the train tunnel and ferry. Good facilities.

Downside: dogs are walked on the campsite (which is allowed), so there are dogs peeing and pooping everywhere on the camping pitches (and playgrounds). Quite dirty, hence 3 stars.
Note: if you are not a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, you pay a surcharge of 15 pounds per night. It pays to become a member if you plan to stay at campsites belonging to this club in England more often.
