Excellent campsite with excellent facilities and close to York. Easily accessible by bike or bus. Definitely worth a visit.

What a gem this is. Friendly welcome with plenty of explanation. Beautiful and spacious pitches. Sanitary facilities that are hotel-worthy and spotlessly clean. Beautifully landscaped grounds with a stunning fishing pond in the middle. The bus to York stops right outside the door.

We paid £47.50 per night (price includes £3 per 24 hours). Of course, it is quite pricey, but it is more than worth it.

So neat and beautifully landscaped!

Super friendly, tidy bathrooms, large pitches, park-like with small lakes, quiet, bus stops right outside the door/dogs are allowed in York, great place to walk the dog, water/electricity….in short, top-notch!!!

Highly recommended!
