Stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful small (garden) campsite with very large pitches and a friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities are clean and the showers are large and spacious with plenty of hot water. A great base (by bike) for visiting Barnard Castle, where there are charming shops, etc. We would love to come back here.

Agree with previous review. There were no hard standing places anymore, but we were allowed to stand on the grass. Very spacious places. Nice route via roads and through a sheep meadow to Barnard Castle (both walking and cycling possible).
