Beautiful well maintained site. Equipped with 'hardstanding pitches' for campers. Plumbing is basic but clean. Discount with NKC / CCI card. And 60+ discount!

Goed verzorgde camping aan de zuid-west grens van het Peak District. Sanitair is verwarmd en schoon. Enig verkeerslawaai van de weg, plaatsen wat verder weg van de receptie zijn stiller. Het aardige plaatsje Leek ligt op 5 km. Ook mooi wandelen en fietsen in de omgeving. Pub The Lazy Trout op 3 km.  is een aanrader.
Als CC lid betaalden we £ 26 voor de camping. 

Well-maintained campsite on the south-west border of the Peak District. Sanitary facilities are heated and clean. Some traffic noise from the road, places further away from reception are quieter. The nice town of Leek is 5 km away. Also nice walking and cycling in the area. Pub The Lazy Trout at 3 km.  recommended.

Mooie camping met weids uitzicht. Sanitair is eenvoudig, maar schoon. Vanaf de camping is een leuke wandeling (ong 1 1/2 uur) naar Leek dwars door de wei en over de velden mogelijk. Via receptie is een duidelijke beschrijving op te halen. Bus stopt naast de camping.

Beautiful campsite with wide view. Sanitary is simple but clean. From the campsite a nice walk (about 1 1/2 hours) to Leek is possible through the meadow and across the fields. A clear description can be obtained from reception. Bus stops next to the campsite.
