Poorly cared for parking lot with no nice view. A visit to atmospheric Staithes (a 15-minute walk) makes up for it!

Quiet car park within easy walking distance of Staithes. Easy to find (although you have to drive down a road with signs saying unsuitable for motors). Road to car park single track but with plenty of passing places. £15 to park overnight, payable by cash, card or RingGo app.

A free spot at a beautiful place. Nice to see the ebb and flow in the village up close. People are working on making it a paid place, but that will take a while, one resident told me. 4 stars not for the simple place but the location.
