Great campsite. Large pitches. Friendly owner. And a good base for visiting York. There is a beautiful cycle route leading there. Definitely do not take the main road.

This campsite is no longer a member of the Caravan and Camping Club. The showers are too cramped and grey water cannot be emptied. Washing dishes must be done outside. However, the location is ideal for visiting the old town centre by bus. We paid £30 cash per night.

nice clean place. they want cash payment here £28 for 1 night, all in. nice base for York by bike. separate cycle path
