Beautiful and clean campsite, but with many permanent mobile homes and about 15 pitches for a camper. The beach, parks, and entrance to the Tyne are within walking distance. A visit to the Roman fort (free), part of Hadrian's Wall, is also worthwhile. The reception was able to arrange the tunnel toll for me (only possible online) to drive to the DFDS terminal.

A lovely place near the sea for £35 per night with all amenities. approximately room for 20 campers.

Warmly received on arrival by a very pleasant and friendly owner. walks along to the pitch, explains everything how it works and wishes you a pleasant stay.

Within walking distance of a small fair and seaside restaurants, everything looks nice.
