Been stopping here for years now, usually for 2-3 nights, 4 times a year when it’s open, grass and being on a slope = mud ruts , definitely need levelling ramps. Sadly the price increase from £5 to £15 is ridiculous, especially when there’s no facilities including water, 3 car parks in Tintagel are £8 for 24 hours also with grass parking. Front field in town is £5. Won’t be stopping here again.

What a great place! From here, you can take a nice, challenging walk to Tintagel. It costs £5, and the caretaker arrives around 7:00 PM. The gate closes after that until 7:30 AM, but everyone receives a code in case of emergencies. There should be more places like this.

Nice quiet spot within walking distance of the cliffs.
Good view.
A bit crooked, but not serious.
It is behind a regular parking lot that attracts many day trippers.
There is also a neat public toilet at the beginning.
There are 6 campers, 30 could easily fit.
