a spacious, open grassland at the edge of a forest at the end of a good gravel road - you can choose your place freely - no reception - you don't have to register - the owner drives around regularly to see if new campers have arrived - very pleasant - very quiet - renewed sanitary facilities - near the old village center with 'The Clergy House' (National Trust) and some historic pubs - center 1km

We stayed there in Aug ’26 for 2 nights. £30 per night with electricity. Nice, spacious site. Sanitary facilities are basic, 10 shower cubicles in a row. Clean, but no space to hang clothes to dry.

Base for visiting Seven Sisters by bike. Note: hilly and partly along a very busy road, with no passing opportunities for cars.

Really a super relaxed place!

2 large grassy fields against a forest edge.

You choose your own spot, and in the afternoon a boy came to collect the money. They have showers, toilets, and a washing-up area, but we didn't use them.

We were nicely in the shade without electricity, but there are also spots with electricity.
From the campsite, you can cycle to the Seven Sisters; it's a beautiful area!

The village is also very cute.

We paid €30 cash for 1 night.

Large bare grass field. Overnight stay with camper without electricity £30! Manager not really friendly but maybe just a bad day? We'll skip this one next time……
