Quiet campsite. Clean toilets, but you have to queue during peak hours; there are few facilities.
The place is nice. You need to be a club member for a discount.
To get to Liverpool, you have to take a taxi or Uber (7 euros) to Kirby train station. You can get a return ticket, which is convenient as you don't have to move your car, and it drops you off in the city center. You validate your ticket upon arrival in Liverpool.

Exorbitantly expensive camping if you are not a member of the Caravan and Motorhome club (not the Camping and Caravanning Club). We paid no less than £53 per night with our bus camper, and that in the early season. Although the campsite is beautifully situated on the Dee estuary, it is quite simple with only one sanitary block for the entire campsite. Nice cycle path to the pleasant seaside resort of West Kirby and further along the coast.

Very nice campsite with spectacular views of the river! very large pitches.
