Scottish campsites are expensive, that's a fact. This campsite costs £30 per night, and electricity is only available on the seaside pitches, at £8 per day. You do get a beautiful view, though.
The shower block is new. There are 6 showers and 6 toilets in total. It's a large field with lots of tents, so it can be cramped. There is, however, space to wash dishes with hot water.
Showers cost £1 for 3 minutes.

Camping a few pitches with electricity & sea view, but otherwise a large grass field where you stand on and next to each other, £30 May 17 without electricity plus £1 for a few minutes shower. Only 3 (slightly dirty) showers for more than 80 pitches (water does not drain). No covered area and no charging facilities for mobile phones, etc. Owner friendly, comes by early evening to collect cash. Does she have a permit for so many guests? Not worth £30.

Beautiful campsite by the sea, you are free to
to choose the spot on the field. There is no reception, we were kindly let in. In the evening the owner came by to collect money, please note, this can only be done in cash. Sanitary facilities are new and in excellent condition. There is a beach, where we had a nice time canoeing. Stayed one night before catching the boat to the Isle of Sky.
