Large park and ride. Height restrictions have now been lifted.

Quiet on Saturdays and Sundays.
No facilities other than trash cans.
Bus connection to the city.
The NCR754 cycle route to the city center along the Union Canal is beautiful!

A good place to stay for one or two nights while visiting Edinburgh.

We spent two nights here (free of charge) to explore Edinburgh. We slept well at night; it was relatively quiet, and we felt safe. There were also plenty of green spaces nearby for walking our dog. A great feature was the direct bus stop with lines Lothian 25, 34, and 35, which take you to the city center in about 30-40 minutes for £2.40 per person per journey.
