## Reviews
### Jongkind - 4/5
*August 2026*

Large, well-maintained campsite. Beautiful sanitary facilities. Pitches for tents, caravans, and campers of all sizes. We did find it a bit pricey, though. We were paid top price for a pitch for campers up to 4.5 m. We could barely get in or out. We had to go back to reception to get another spot. Fortunately, we had arrived early and were able to switch pitches.

Bus 11 from the main road to the center of Edinburgh.

Nice, well-maintained campsite, everything is in good order, restaurant nearby, bus to the city centre 500m away; buy a day ticket for 6 pounds and you can take multiple buses in the city to various places. The only downside was that we were assigned a pitch that wasn't on gravel, so on the grass, but these pitches weren't numbered. We were close to some English people who had the same problem and we had a good laugh about it :)

Great spot and location for visiting Edinburgh. Bus stop 600m away.

The campsite is clean, well-maintained with spacious pitches, and has many facilities. You pay for that, of course.
