A unique stretch of dune landscape on an otherwise rocky coast could easily have been converted into a golf course, but is now a campsite with many stunning spots. It is a good campsite too, with a restaurant (serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and takeaway), a camp shop with a reasonable selection, a recreation room (billiards, table tennis, TV), and excellent toilets and showers. Cycling to the beautifully situated Rua Reidh lighthouse (2 x 16 km) is tough, but highly recommended.

If you have e-bikes with you, the West Coast route up to the lighthouse is a beautiful route with a few short, tough climbs (for us, the first good short cycling route - this one over 30km round trip - in mid and west Scotland).

We can only endorse the reviews already posted.
Truly a wonderfully situated campsite with plenty of space around the beautifully landscaped pitches with water and electricity.
We paid 35 pounds for an overnight stay with electricity. We booked an extra day to make use of the professional washing machine and dryer.
