Beautiful, quiet spot, close to a bus stop to be in Edinburgh in 50 minutes. Spacious pitches with power hook-ups.

The sanitary facilities are incredibly clean. The showers are set very short though; washing your hair when you have to press the button every 5 seconds is very difficult and cold.

40 pounds is on the pricey side, but everything is neat and tidy.

Great place to visit Edinburgh in peace and quiet. You can comfortably stay longer at the campsite itself. Nice and quiet, good sanitary facilities, grey water disposal, chemical toilet, and Wi-Fi, so everything is available.
It is a pity that even if you want to view Roslyn Chapel from the outside (no dogs allowed), you still have to buy a ticket. (The campsite can't do anything about that, by the way), because it is located right next to the campsite.

With all due respect to the owner, who prioritizes the safety of his guests: our compatriots who came at 8 pm with empty e-bike batteries to ask for a bit of power for the last 15 of their 100 km in the hills were denied it. Security was even sent out to chase them away. That bothers us as former cycling holidaymakers. Such unfriendliness! That is why only one star instead of five.
