This campsite claims to cost £16.50, but if you book via their site, you pay £17.50 p/n.

Using the toilet was not possible; the drain was clogged. It wasn't repaired, but a farm cart was placed on top so it couldn't be used anymore.

Showering involves the risk of burns; it was so terribly hot that we couldn't shower properly.

The bistro is only open from Thu to Sun.
The town of Llangollen is a half-hour walk away; it's a nice town.

a fantastic location around the ruins of an old abbey.
very friendly people. there are all kinds of facilities, including a launderette and a pub where you can enjoy a good pint and a simple meal.
the sanitary facilities are quite outdated but sufficient.
what is really a shame is that there is small litter everywhere on the site, that really detracts from the experience for us.
