Nice spot right in the middle of the village.

As stated at the machine: you can pay for an overnight stay in a camper at one of the spacious pitches starting at 4 p.m. (not earlier).

The town, beach, and castle are within walking distance.

The train passes (slowly) behind it.

There are toilets and waste disposal facilities.

*August 2026* 

Large dedicated motorhome parking bays within a mixed parking area in town centre, next to railway station. Few mins walk to castle, beach, coastal path, shops, cafes. Confusing pay machine, had to phone council number on sign to ask if paid correct but person spoke to didn’t know & never got call back to clarify. Machine kept saying cancelled when ‘press 4 
motorhome ’ wanting overnight £16.50 so had to pay other max rate of 24hrs £15.40!
