This is our third visit in 10 years. It's one of the most beautiful campsites we've experienced in 15 years of motorhome travel, and definitely the nicest in the UK.

The grounds are wonderfully maintained, the sanitary facilities are excellent, and the gardens are beautifully landscaped. The river is perfect for swimming and playing.

The Moll on the grounds is a good bistro, but it has different owners.

The staff are friendly and helpful.

Campsite is some distance from town, but there is a flag down bus at entrance. Bistro was temporarily closed. Few ‘ordinary’ pitches available - told our 6m Motorhome was too big for them! Fully serviced pitch was generous with pleasant bushes delineating pitches. Toilets & showers were old fashioned, not terribly clean and probably too few if site was busy.
