We were a bit nervous about an unmanned site at first, but everything worked perfectly! We had a lovely spot with a view of the water. The kids loved watching the boats. Heusden seems incredibly beautiful, but we mainly used it as a base for visiting Efteling theme park. It was great to have a quiet place to sleep before and after! The bathroom facilities were also clean and warm. A real bonus when it snows!

We booked quite late in the day, so the confirmation took a while, but we managed to arrange everything nicely on time by phone. Ben and Tessa have created a fantastic, child-friendly place that we'd love to visit again in the spring or summer! A big plus: Tessa gave us a great parking tip for Leiden, which allowed us to park our campervan quickly and enjoy a wonderful day in the city, including a visit to Naturalis.

A very friendly welcome, in our case by phone as we arrived a bit late. Clean and warm restrooms. It's great that there are also spacious family showers, which is super handy with young children. Beautiful grounds with a view of the water. We'll definitely be back to try out the playground when the weather is nice.
