Highly recommended with children (ours are 3 and 7 years old). It's literally a stone's throw from the (large) recreational lake, has excellent sanitary facilities, playground equipment as far as the eye can see, unattended check-in and check-out, and all the camper amenities. Wierden, with its charming town center, is easily accessible by bike; bikes can be rented at the adjacent holiday park (book a day in advance!). In short, we'll be back!

Great parking spot for a stopover or, like us, a place to sleep for the expo. Very large P with the sports hall on one side (busy, even when arriving at 22:30) and very quiet at the cemetery on the other side. Not a ‘special spot’ but neat, clean and lit!

We travel with two young kids (2 and 7 years old) and in the low season because of work. On arrival we were overjoyed.. Playground next to the camper, beautiful park and supermarket nearby. Paid for electricity, water and ordered food at the brasserie that borders the park. We only drove here explicitly because there was also a toilet, but it was locked at 5:00 PM (!).. 😞 Disappointing! Fortunately the kids were allowed in the brasserie.

Worthless. Drove for hours because this seemed like a nice place with the kids and the only one with a toilet nearby. Advertised everywhere in the village and well beforehand with signs. Arrival; pawn in front and closed. No explanation anywhere, nowhere indicated; just closed! Drive into the village, left on the main street (monastery at your back) and you will find a 24/7 parking with gate and electricity. Toilet? drive 3 minutes in the same direction and then right. Also open 24/7!

Always such a clear difference between luxury camper cats and down-to-earth people. Great parking space, perhaps warm in high season (but where isn't?). No electricity or water, but very clearly indicated. Not very expensive for a mega tourist attraction. Toilets within 5 minutes walking distance, open day and night. For an extensive visit to the mountain, a big plus! 👍🏼😄

We travel with two young kids (at the time of writing 2 and 7 years old) and especially in the low season because of work. Really don't understand the whining below. Yes, it is expensive. But this is my 15th time Disneyland (first time with a camper) and I have never been so close to the park for 40 euros a night! Toilets can be saved, a short ten minute walk from the camper. No luxury places, but come here to sleep! Luxury? Book an expensive hotel! 😉

We travel with two young kids (at the time of writing 2 and 7 years old) and usually in the low season because of work. This stopover location is great. Very suitable for travelers. Entrance with well-known camping car organization, use your pass or get a new pass directly via the pole. Payment digitally. Electricity, water, drains and mega playground available. Toilet building of the municipality but flushed very poorly. One of our favorites! ❤️

We travel with two young kids (at the time of writing 2 and 7 years old) and we always travel in the low season because of work. This place is just open 365 days a year with a toll booth. Low season price 17 euros. The place itself, well.. Big and electricity, toilets and showers now renovated but good, the door can be locked and there is light. Gigantic holes on the terrain. It is sufficient (toilet and electricity) but that's it. In the village itself more modern but no toilet. 🚽😞

We travel with two young children (at the time of writing 2 and 7 years old) and mainly in the low season because of our work. In this region by far the best stop (searched for a few hours). in the low season. Biggest disadvantage is the closed toilet between December and April. We would rather have paid something for the toilet than closed. With toilet open worth four stars. Enough space for the kids to fool around outside. Electricity costs 2 euros for 2 hours.

We travel with young children (at the time of writing 7 and 10 years old) and mostly in the low season because of our work. Very good camper stop for an overnight stay, for a longer period of time little to do for the kids, but that is not what we were looking for. Playground equipment, showers and toilet (clean), electricity and water. This camper stop is on our favorites list 👍🏼❤️ …
