We arrived at a construction site on a drizzly day. Fortunately, the hostess reassured us, "all the best things are just around the corner." It's a great place, with potential, and they're working hard on it. We're very curious to see what it will become and will return when the weather improves to see how it develops. Given the current situation, we thought the price was a bit high.

What a beautiful place for both people and dogs! A fenced-in camper spot, so our insecure dog could run around freely. Happy dog, happy owner! Behind the campsite is a wooded area perfect for a lovely walk. A very kind hostess with a great love for dogs, but also down-to-earth and clear-headed. We received a very warm welcome, even though our arrival wasn't entirely as planned. We'll try again in a different season, when it's busier!

What a surprise! And so close. An oasis of peace on a fruit farm. Amenities are available and well-maintained. You can also easily cycle to Scheemda or Noordbroek for groceries, or pick up fresh produce from the on-site farm shop, when it's open. It's absolutely fantastic here!

We're not usually review writers, but this campsite deserves one! Clean, friendly, well-maintained service, and a beautiful spot with a lot of history. The church next door is worth a visit, and Dokkum is just a bike ride away. Oh...and those showers!! 5 stars! We had to move on, but would have loved to stay longer.

A bit of confusion at the front "is the campsite open?" No flags, posters, nothing, except the nameplate. But luckily... Everything is fine. Beautiful green areas and birds from early to late. You can walk into Rolde and have all amenities nearby. Only the question is how long this will remain because houses are going to be built. Would be a shame.. But until then we will definitely come back!
