This is an excellent caravan/motorhome site with excellent views of the North Coast and is located very close to the Giants Causeway. Within easy reach are Ballycastle, Bushmills, Coleraine and Portrush. Carrick a Rede rope bridge is well worth a visit. The facilities (Toilet and shower) are spotless and as with the electric are included in the very reasonable price. If touring it is perfect.... but phone ahead as the weekends in the summer are often fully booked.

The approach road from the south has now a good surface however the street along the front in the village is very narrow and should be approached with caution. The car park can be busy in the evening with race horse trailers and dog walkers arriving in their cars. The location is beautiful with a harbour, great beach, modern toilets and various burger/fish and chip vans. The "Flight of the Earls" was from here and is well documented on display boards and sculptures. Well worth a visit.

Excellent place for an overnight in a beautiful area. There is a large car park with views of the mountains, a great beach for walking on and a harbour. There are toilets and a cafe. Provision is made for the disposal of grey waste and the contents of the toilet cassette.

This is an Excellent Aire located aprox 5km west of Claremorris. Pat, the owner, is a motorhomer himself and has used his experiences to create a unique and welcoming environment. It is secure parking spot with 10 EHUs. There is water, toilet disposal facilities and a toilet. In addition there is an "indoor" area with seating, microwaves, a kettle, washing machine and tumble dryer and sink.

Remote and very relaxing. The views are beautiful especially when the tide is in. This is a small working harbour and so care should be taken not to hinder the fishermen by inconsiderate parking. The village and eating places are five minutes walk away.

A good Aire within easy walking distance of the beautiful harbour town. Well worth a visit. Very busy and very few electrical sockets.

We use this campsite when returning to the Cherbourg ferry. It is relaxing and friendly with a good atmosphere. The village itself is very interesting for people of all ages and the museums etc etc are really up to date in the way the material is presented. Information about the village is easy to access.

We enjoyed a short visit to the town and found that it was an easy walk from the campsite. There are many places of interest to visit especially the Roman ruins. The site itself is large and spacious but the facilities could do with modernisation. I would however return to this location.

A very popular Are in the summer months. Really good location for access to the town. The individual pitches are well laid out and spacious. Well worth a visit.

In an area with great scenery. Walks on the beach are fantastic. There are not many hard stands and the unmarked pitches on grass can be uneven. They are used mainly by tents. We were there in April and it was very quiet.

An excellent site with very clean facilities. The individual pitches are private and large. The town is within walking distance. There is a real emphasis on nature and flowers. Beautiful.

This is an excellent facility for motorhomers who want to experience rural Ireland. David and Elizabeth the owners are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. They have an intimate knowledge of the local and surrounding areas and are keen walkers themselves. The facilities are extensive and spotless. The site would have scored 10/10 if the electricity had been more than 6 amp !

Excellent facilities with modern showers and a television room with sofas. Barrier for security. It has become so popular with local motorhomes that booking by phone is advisable. Short walk into the village and shops. Great supermarket /coffeeshop / restaurant at Eurospar. A little remote for main tourist attractions in N. Ireland.

In my opinion this is one of the best Aires in Ireland. The price is very reasonable and the location is brilliant. Well done to the local Council. The train station is right beside you for trips into Cork city. There are interesting museums right beside the harbour and the cruise ships turn right in front of you. Eating places are numerous and good.

This is just a car park but is very close to the castle and ramparts etc. An excellent location for visiting the town. At one end there is a fenced off children's play area but it was not busy or noisy. At the other end is a pay toilet and the police station. Probably difficult for large motorhomes. Spaces are narrow but adequate.

A good site from which to visit the beautiful town. Road access to the campsite is easy and it is an easy walk to town and shops. Busy in the summer with a lot of motorhomes staying for a short time and moving on. Good information in reception. Wifi in area of reception.

An excellent stop. Very close to interesting town where there is a clean public toilet. There was very little road noise even in the morning. Felt very safe. Beautiful setting. During the day it may be busy with cars.

An excellent Aire with great facilities. Would be a great stop for visiting the tourist areas of Co. Wicklow. Would also be very suitable for those going to or coming from the Rosslare ferry. The only downside is that is too far for most people to walk into Arklow. The owners motorhome themselves and have drawn on their experience when designing this Aire.
