A town to fall in love with, the castle, medieval streets and the forest to explore. A free aire with free water (I sanitised the tap as the only one next to wc disposal). Motorhomes were parked on the grass so able to leave dog in shade while exploring castle, I'm told the barrier isn't always up allowing this and aire was full but worth seeing if space.

A town to fall in love with! and a free aire with free water (I sanitised tap as only one tap by wc disposal). I stayed two nights, the barrier for the car park was up and motor homes were parked on the grass which isn't always an option speaking to someone so I suspect could struggle to get in if barrier down as aire was full. Fougeres forest, the fortress and medieval streets to explore.

I parked over the river away from the station, just had less of a car park feel. Next to river so you can walk along the tow path.

So glad I stopped here. The setting is beautiful, fields of horses and cows. Water available for no charge, picnic tables and chairs and a compost loo and bin for rubbish. Couldn't fault it, stayed two nights.

quiet, undisturbing, not particularly close to anything but served as a stop over or to enjoy the scenery. no problems with camping behaviour.

lovely free aire, plenty of space and a short walk from the really lovely seaside village which was a delight to stroll around. Dogs allowed on beach which mine was pleased of and some field walks. Is all grass to consider if weather is bad. There is a dustbin and there are recycling bins a short walk away taking the road into the village for the eco-conscious. Perfect location stayed two nights.
