Great location and base for visiting La-Roque-Gageac, a bizarre village built against the rock face and the gardens of Marquessac. 14 minutes by bike or half an hour's walk. The price is now over 13 euros, probably because of the renovations that took place in April 2024. The road along it has quite a bit of traffic during the day, but that is considerably less in the evening. The immediate surroundings are beautiful! You do need a pass'Etappes

great place along the river Barrow. Nice village to explore. Unfortunately quite a few shops closed. A lovely walk along the left bank of the Barrow. An ancient oak has squeezed itself between the boulders, very special, never seen before. And here again friendly Irish. After a month of traveling we have yet to encounter the first grumbler!

strictly no overnight camping! Save yourself the hassle of the trip, one big tourist spot because of the horse and carriage rental possibilities. Nothing can be seen of the lakes from here.
