Not a bad spot although we made the mistake of parking there on a Saturday night during a fiesta so people were coming and going alot and returning late to their cars.  Imagine it's better during the week.  Felt slightly uneasy at times but it's a convenient place to stop to visit Plasencia, the old town (Cathedral /Parador etc) is definitely worth a visit. A few guys begging in the parking area we gave them food.

We stayed 1 night peacefully and enjoyed the town and the park jogging routes - it is a great spot with a few motorhomes dotted amongst the cars. Unfortunately, there was an old man in his red car who just spent the day pissing into carrier bags and leaving them by his car then moving to another space, we watched him do this! he either needs help or he is a council official with a grudge against motorhome people - it looked deliberate…

Good parking and overnight accommodation. You can explore the city on foot. Slept peacefully.
