The car park at the beach itself has a height restriction of 2.2m and is therefore not suitable for most campers

Visited in early August 2025, after a previous visit from our son. It's a small-scale campsite, which makes it appealing. Silke and Bibo are helpful and versatile. They run the campsite during the day and the restaurant in the evening. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Sanitary facilities are excellent and clean. Do pay attention to the opening hours, make reservations for meals, and pay in cash in some cases. Don't tell me we didn't warn you ;-)

Visited July 2025, 2 nights. A great spot for a free pitch. Some activity during the day, quiet in the evening. Plenty of space. Ideal base for walking and cycling, or visiting the abbey. Guided tours are available. Beer and cheese from the abbey shop. Bread from the local bakery. Rolls only on Saturdays and Sundays: not particularly special. Fries and ice cream are around the corner, as are two restaurants. Trash cans, but no other amenities.

Visited May 2025. For a free camper place: well maintained! Excellent place on the Maas valley, and ditto base for bike rides to e.g. Sittard, Terhills (nature park) and Maasmechelen (Village). Toilet available during opening hours of the information point. Water point for drinking bottles outside. At the bike service point you can even charge your bike battery for free in lockers: ideal. Otherwise quiet and neat. Small supermarket and snack bar within walking distance.

Visited May 2025. Nice campsite with all standard facilities, spacious pitches with beautiful views. Friendly owners. Nice base for cycling tours in the area, Elsloo, Stein, Geleen, and the Bokken & Rollen tours (eating & cycling). On Wednesdays also an IVN walk.

Visited May 2025, and not for the first time. Nice base for visiting Maastricht and surroundings, e.g. cycling route around the Pietersberg and Enci quarry. Place at the front, with a nice view of the Maas. All facilities available. Only disadvantage: shower can only be paid with €1 coin(s). No changing machine available.

Visited October 2024. Autumn so quiet. Facilities fine. Showers €0.50 for nice warm water. Nice owner. Great starting point for bike rides to Breskens: much along the water.

Visited October 2024. Ok, it's a parking lot, but the view is great and the facilities are fine. 6A electricity and toilet included, showers (1€). Payment goes to the water sports association (WSV) for the preservation of the harbor and camper place. Just call the association for the code of the key to the waiting room, for the facilities. Visited in the fall so quiet.

Visited again end of August 2024, and liked it again. Great location and sanitary facilities. Price includes electricity. Dishwasher available in the kitchen of the sanitary building (with coins). Extremely friendly managers: Remco & Sandy 👍🏻

Visited August 2024. Great place, nice and quiet and spacious. Various facilities available. Train is certainly not disturbing: silent trains. Restaurant also fine: it can be busy. Paid for electricity, but for 1€ (8 hours of electricity) is usually sufficient. Nearby village unfortunately has accommodations and no bakery or other shop anymore.

Visited August 2024. Although our arrival time was a bit unfortunate in the 'Mittagsruhe', we were then kindly helped away. Sanitary, kitchen, etc. very neat, nice shower. Excellent washing machine and dryer. Nice base for cycling tours and visiting Ebenalp. Where we normally only stay 1 or max 2 nights, we stayed here for 3. Recommended :-)

Visited August 2024, because the Alte Brennerie was packed. Due to construction work, this CO was a bit difficult to reach, but it was possible. Friendly owner. Fresh fruit in the shop, as well as bread service. Unfortunately no sanitary facilities (that's why it's 4*). Having a toilet in the camper is therefore mandatory. But since many campers have one anyway, it's no problem. Great place!

Visited, but full, so looked for a place somewhere else nearby. HundweilerHof, highly recommended ;-)

Visited end of August 2024. A sign below indicates that only cars and motorcycles are allowed to park here. Therefore no longer a camper place. (based on experience with a fine elsewhere in Germany, the advice not to park here) A camper place with facilities has now been constructed and signposted at about 300 meters.

Visited August 2024 and added to the app here. Spacious bus parking lot where 2 campers are also allowed. Nice that you can also sit outside here. Toilet is a 5-minute walk away, at the church, where there is also a drinking water source. A block or wedge is needed to stand upright. Waste disposal in the immediate vicinity. Only disadvantage: traffic noise from approx. 6:30 am. Quiet in the evening. ParknSleep app required, but works easily.

Visited August 2024. Great place on paved strips in the grass. We were nicely at the front with a view of the sunflowers. Sanitary facilities fine (shower and toilet). Friendly lady at/from the mini bistro. Payment only cash (or Twint for account holders of a Swiss account). Village (with bankomat) 10 min. walk. Cleaning toilet cassette a bit inconvenient because of the sani-system. Water: paid: 1 CH. Nevertheless 5 stars: top in this region.

Visited August '24. Prime location within walking and cycling distance of the source and origin of the Danube (2 different locations!). It was busy, but there is plenty of space available at the tennis hall as an overflow. Quiet night, great location. Electricity available, but not used. A container for waste would have been useful.

Visited August '24. Large parking lot, mainly under trees. Handy, when we are there it is quite warm. No finished place, so plenty of freedom. About 20 min. buy from the center. Had something to eat and drink at "Strandkorb" located at the parking lot. Quiet night, great place, free.

Visited June 24. Due to closed reception around noon and resulting in a wait of more than 2 hours, we drove on to another campsite in this village. Opportunity missed.

Visited June 24: bit chaotic at the entrance due to the departing students. The reception was not manned and looked 'not in use'. Couldn't find anyone for information and therefore left for another campsite in this village. Opportunity missed.

Visited June 24: Excellent camper place, fine along the fence, but with access to the parking lot (there were at least 15 of them). Free toilet and discharge water and toilet. A 2-minute walk to the castle and center. On Sunday morning: market with local and fresh products 😋 Refuel at Super-U, a few km away from/to highway. Center less suitable for large (er) campers: no entry from the camper place is indicated, but not from the highway: follow the main road.

Visited June 24, after spending a night at the adjacent camper site. Now camping because of showers. A great campsite in itself, especially for this price. When it is busy it can be difficult to find a sufficiently flat place. Lighting around sanitary facilities turned off after 11 p.m. Access can be difficult to find: follow the road directly along the inside of the city wall. A 2-minute walk from the old city center!

Visited June 24. While looking for the campsite, we were directed to the camper place by an (over) zealous resident. Mainly because of the narrow streets (but that later turned out to be unjustified). The camper place is a bit like a campsite where the sanitary facilities are closed. But there is plenty for campers. Most places have concrete slabs so you can stand flat and not in the mud (when it rains). Electricity, water and discharge are included.

Visited June 24. Excellent camper place with various facilities, such as free toilet. Showers for €2, and washing machine and dryer for €4 each, neat and clean. There is a small supermarket in the tank shop with fresh bread. The roadhouse style completes it. Ok, people expect you to do so if you can refuel. Then you might pay €5 more than the cheapest one in the area, but for that money you will also be refueled and there is a camper place. Fine, right?

Visited June 24. Excellent campsite, which may look a bit classic but has everything you need. Ok, dogs are not allowed, but we don't think that is a problem. Plenty of room during this period. Within (car) distance of Las Médulas.

Visited June 24. Excellent camper place with water and drains for water and toilet. Within walking distance of the village with a single restaurant/bar, but also a castle and houses made of something like marl. Please note: access through the village is well indicated with signs. My navigation wanted to send us via a gravel path, but that is not necessary. No camping behavior allowed (unfortunately) but there are 2 picnic tables 🤔 therefore 4 stars.

Visited June '24, coming from Cabo Touriñán, the easternmost point. But this is the end point for the pilgrims. It's special that you can spend the night here. Various places available, but will be busier in high season, with this beautiful view. Ok, you need blocks, but you have them with you anyway. Toilet at the tourist point, but don't expect much. The night can be restless when there is wind. Still 5 stars because of the location.

Visited June 24: Chose the campsite because of sanitary facilities. Lucky to have a beautiful place with a beautiful view. Sanitary facilities excellent: more than sufficient and clean. Walk or cycle from the campsite to the top (swing and photo point with 'heart') and/or to the town. Camper place in the town is an alternative, but without the beautiful view.

Visited June 24: Large parking lot with plenty of camper pitches, water supply and drainage, etc. No trucks were seen due to the weekend. Road was also quiet. Heard dogs occasionally, as well as cow bells (or something like that). Great place for €0. The Mirador on the other side was not accessible with the camper due to road works.

Visited June 24: Great base for visiting Bilbao. We were lucky to be on the edge with a beautiful view of Bilbao. Meg ff bus for 1.35 to the center: you are not allowed to take a stop for that in the Netherlands. No plumbing or electricity was used. When busy: arrive on time...it is a popular CP.

Visited early June 2024 and added as a camper place. Spacious pitches with some facilities, and that for 0 euros. Toilet and waste water discharge, clean water filling free of charge. Within walking distance of the center and shops. Opposite roller skating track. We had a quiet night

Visited early June. €29 per night for 2 people without electricity and the camping facilities within walking distance. Bus to San Sebastian nice and close and ideal: €1.85, single. That's why you don't cycle down (let alone back up) on this narrow road. Continuing along this road is not permitted approximately 7km past the campsite. Tip: first return to San Sebastian. Been there...

Visited early June. €9.22 for 24 hours, including water and discharge. And this is within walking distance of the Bayonne boulevard and just 20 minutes by bike from Biarritz. Ok, the pitches are not wide, but for a camper place, this money and this location: fine.

Visited June 1-2. Beautiful place, beautifully situated, for example for walking, cycling and watching the sunset. No facilities. Approx. 8 places for campers up to 6m. Max 2 or 3 for more than 6m: creative placement. The remainder of the parking lot has a height bar: 2.1 m

Although this location would have been fine for us for one night, we decided to stay elsewhere because it was (too) full to stand there. Not far from the center (bicycle for example) and several large shops

Visited Aug 2023. As the campsites in Rosport and Echternach are pricey and large we tried this one. Although there are some permanent campers here

Visited June 23. Mini campsite, surrounded by tall trees. €20 per night excluding electricity. Beautiful sanitary facilities. Particularly friendly managers / owners! Great base for visiting Urk, Schokland, etc. Fire bowl present and therefore allowed: nice! Gray water drain not found. Discharge toilet only without toilet fluid due to. septic tank.

Visited June 23. Simple parking space especially for campers, (almost) right in the center. Considering the price 0 € perfect. Center and shops within walking distance. fine for a night and visit to Leer. You can send the approach route over a bridge with a weight and width restriction: if you add the 'tourist information' to your route in that case, you will be left unguided. Quiet at night, city and work life gets going early in the morning. Not really disturbing.

Visited June 23. Great camper place close to the center. €17 per night without electricity. Center and harbor within walking distance, larger shops within cycling distance. Also a great base for cycling trips, eg to the Tiefwaren see. Viewing tower isn't much, but it's fun 🚲 trip.

Visited June 23. Nice motorhome area in the harbour. Not to be mistaken with the campsite. Register at the harbor master or adjacent imbiss in the old warehouse. Price only €7!, including access to sanitary facilities. Village and shops within walking distance.

Visited June 23. Great motorhome, in marina, friendly managers. Access via picturesque roads. Washing machine and dryer (a € 4 per turn). Excellent starting point for visiting museums in Peenemunde. Drain dirty water through container with hose.

Visited June 23. Great place for an overnight stay at 25DKK per person. Includes access to toilets. Friendly staff. Road is present, but not very disturbing. Great starting point to catch the ferry. And yes, you occasionally hear a peacock ;-) but that's nature, right?

Visited June 23. Great family site, short walk to a nice beach and attractive rate. Pine trees, for some shade, but fortunately not too much. Sanitary fine, clean. Even swimming pool (paid) available. Camper service area available. Beautiful area for cycling.

Visited June 23. Great campsite with various facilities. Sanitary accessible with (personal) code. Fine in itself, but go to the toilet before you pay, because after that the code is no longer active. Electricity transparent via app, and paid per kWh: cheaper than a fixed rate and fairer. Few flat pitches: extra blocks in the camping shop, which sells many more camping items. Nice view, village within walking distance

Visited June 23. Excellent campsite with all kinds of facilities. Showers a DKK 5 for 3 minutes. Ekkodalen within cycling distance, beach too. Because we only stayed 1 night, we were asked to move to another field: no problem in itself. Relatively many Dutch people present.

Visited June 23. Great place for 1 or 2 nights. More than enough space. In itself special that one can stand here for free. Toilets are self-open, free, and fairly tidy. Beautiful walking routes, including to Hammerodde Fyr (circular approx. 7 km) and Hammershus castle ruins (free). Sign prohibited for campers was removed (see one of the photos)

Visited June 23. Great campsite. We were at the front of one of the camper pitches. Always something to see. Plumbing is fine. Electricity included. There is even a small swimming pool: 27°C. Hasle within walking distance, Ronne within cycling distance via a beautiful cycle path through the woods. Also walked to the camper place. Since the rate is the same, I prefer this campsite with more comfort.

Visited June 23. Despite being at Hasle Camping, just walked past here. Observed rate DKr240. Sufficient places. Sanitary facilities in harbor building. But since the price is the same as at the campsite, you would rather stay there, with a little more comfort.

Great camper place. All amenities available. Toilets and showers clean. Also washed for 4 € + drying 4 €: can we take it again :-) Payment only cash: 20 € and only in the morning between 9 and 10 am. Drainage via a container is less convenient: the hose is on the short side. We even had a few deer walk by. Places on the outside are more spacious than behind the barrier.

Visited June 23. Nice quiet place near/behind the water ski school. Toilets included. Showers & electricity for an additional fee (not used). Camper place emotionally still under construction in terms of location, experience and accessibility. Staff are friendly. Considered going back for a second night, but ended up elsewhere because of the toilet not being able to discharge. Putbus & Lauterbach within cycling distance.

Visited June 23. Great place for an overnight stay. And then immediately on foot or by bike to the Konigstuhl. Found a great place with a beautiful view over the fields. Toilets, showers and electricity for a fee. Great showers. You don't need much more with a camper ;-)

Visited June 23. Entrance was a bit more difficult to find, so photo added. Facilities fine, toilet and shower fine: took a little longer before the shower water was warm, but it eventually did. Within walking distance of harbor and village. Shops within cycling distance.

June '23 visited: Spacious lawn with 10 places. We were there outside the high season, there were still 6 places available. Sanitary fine, although each part of the facilities must be paid separately. (no problem/transparent in itself). Small eastern village with GDR history, directly on the Elbe. Village Domitz with castle within cycling distance.

June '23 visited: Places on mix parking. No facilities, but in many cases they are not necessary. After all, apart from the kur-taxe, it costs nothing. Free taxe 1.50 per person, pay rd at the Tourist info. Center, etc. within walking distance. Aldi, Lidl and Rewe also within walking distance. Despite the road (near) still slept peacefully.

Visited August 2022. Great place for overnight stay. In high season it is busy, so look for a place in good time. Large motorhome shop with a lot of (used) motorhomes. Dutch camping shops/caravan/motorhome traders can take an example here. ;-)

Visited August 2022. Very neat campsite, near thermal bath. Plumbing looked fine (best we've seen in 2 weeks Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary). Very quiet: crowds are mainly in advantages and disadvantages with seniors. Thermal bath is being renovated and is largely open: 2 swimming pools and 1 thermal bath. Still looked neat.

Visited August 2022 for Budapest City Visit. Easy with direct connection via line 291. Because the weather was less nice, it was a bit of a search for a place that was not shaded. Access is tight but doable with 1x stitches with a 7m camper. All facilities are there and are functional. They write themselves in accordance with European standards ;-) Marta makes every effort to provide the correct information. Fine.

Visited August 2022, stood 1 night. You don't understand why it's so quiet here... Ok, the plumbing is (apparently) from before the war, but it works (otherwise you can enjoy your camper ;-). Enough space, water and electricity included for 4500Ft (approx. 11€). Helpful manager. Town within walking distance, which was not bad. Given the above 5 stars...

Visited August 2022 and stood 1 night. Mixed parking near a 'shipping, museum/education centre'. View of lake is nice. Lake can be reached on foot via a few steps, but it is a bit of walking / climbing / descending. Nowhere indicated that one is (not) allowed to spend the night here. Very calm. When the playground is open, there is even a water tap.

Camping Niche is no more. Abandoned, dilapidated, the Auf Wiedersehen photo says it all ;-)

Most of it has already been written: simple but effective. Nice free access to swimming pool and thermal baths. Free washing machine (without manual ;-) Town is also nice. Even quiet in high season, despite the great location.

Visited August 2022, for 2 nights. Ideal for city visits, with the U-bahn within walking distance. Also equipped with sanitary facilities, etc. On our arrival it was busy (high season) and luckily there was still room: informing in advance can be useful. €25 (2px+electricity) for in the middle of such a big city: fine. Public transport day ticket for less than €10, or 14.40 for 48 hours: affordable :-)

Visited August 2022. Car park along very busy road. In short: no winking due to continuous traffic, even at night no quiet moments. :-(

August 2022 we stayed here for 1 night. A campsite with (too) many facilities. High season so busy. Quite chaotic, with almost only Czech tents and caravans/campers. We didn't need electricity so we placed somewhere in between. Tip: the white family zone:: quiet zone!. On the day of departure you can stay until 23:59. After 1 day moved to the parking lot for AquaLand (not at AquaLand), on your way to Austria.

visited august '22, to park. Cost 100czk for 'full day'. Parking is at, and open right with the Albert supermarket. Through the gate, payment at the booth at the barrier.. Whether staying here is allowed has not become clear to us (our Czech is not ok...🤪), therefore 2 stars. Town center accessible on foot. A great place for our purpose.

Visited August 2022. This is (, by now) little more than a parking lot. You may be able to stand there with a small (bus?) camper, but with something larger (6+m) it will be difficult. Not really worth mentioning. We drove on to the other place in Telč. It costs 200CZK for 24 hours, but then you also have enough space (at the bus-P)

Too expensive campsite for what it is. We paid €29 for 2 people with electricity per night. Not within walking distance of the beach as mentioned, but close to the sea. Tokens at the reception to shower were gone, half of the toilets were closed, not really useful for the high season. Places are very uneven and unfavorably laid out. Wifi only available at reception and bar. Overall, poor value for money.

Visited in early August 2022. Ok, the access path is a cart track, but sufficiently paved. The entrance can be taken in one go with a camper of 7m. Then you are in a quiet place with a beautiful view. Owner called for code of combination lock: speaks English. Water is groundwater, turn on the pump yourself. The prohibition sign on the access road was doubtful: only for local traffic: so allowed. Best approach from the 605. Top!

Super campsite. Small-scale but cozy farm campsite with all amenities. Clean and modern sanitary facilities. Definitely worth it at this low price!

Great place, although between the boat shed, nice view of the jetty. Goodbye clear and fine, also beautiful oblique places so that you always have some view. Excellent base for cycling through the area including a 'round the ferry': about 40 km. Village itself has no shop(s). Friendly harbor master, excellent sanitary facilities/facilities. Nicely priced, yet a few free places and no reservations: what a pleasure in these times. 👍🏻

Excellent CP with sufficient space and fortunately not fully booked in advance and full .... Excellent base for cycling through the area and visiting Geertruidenberg (walking distance). Cheerful and friendly harbor master. excellent facilities. Only tip: switch the Parking and the motorhome: this way the motorhomes have a view of the boats 😎

Great mini campsite. Luckily we were able to find a place in the sun near the playground. Good base for cycling trips through the area. Close to Hilvarenbeek and the Beekse Bergen. Sanitary neat. Access tight but otherwise fine to do.

Delivered week visited. good spacious pitches, paved and yet grass in front of the door. Excellent base for cycling in the area and visiting Oudenbosch. Simple plumbing but fine for a CP: everything you need & friendly reception.

Visited around Ascension Day. Due to crowds, we got a spot between the chalets and not near the campers. No problem: spacious place and close to the facilities. Great starting location for a bike ride to Giethoorn.

Great camper place. Limited facilities but the price is accordingly. € 10, - including electricity and water. Sufficient cycling options.

Visited May 14-17. Previously visited so as expected. Relatively quiet (still few neighbors due to corona). We will probably come here more often this season. :-)

Visited 10 on May 11. great base for visiting Hattem and Zwolle. Busy period but there was just 1 place for us. Showers partially open (corona). Place and WiFi ok.

Visited 14-10. Had a quiet night on the busy Waal. Nice view. Sanitary fine. No Wifi (at least no info to be able to connect). Great base for cycling and hiking around Druten.

Visited 10-10. Free CP / parking space next to the castle and within walking / cycling distance of Fort Pannerden. There could be more. Great base. Had a quiet night. with 1 other camper. The app contains 3 places, but they can accommodate 3 average campers.

Great camper place with facilities. Spacious grounds. Now quiet out of season. If the toilet building at the CP could have been open, for the first emergency (but an average camper also has that on board)

Also this year several times. Not just for surfing ... Everything is available at a decent price. Close to the main road and Strand Horst. Friendly manager, flexible in / after consultation. (Rules are unfortunately needed, and that is not the fault of the owner ...) Will definitely come again.
