What is not mentioned in the facilities is the availability of a washing machine and dryer, each €4 per use.

suitable camper place; expensive for what is offered. seems like the previous (free) years still need to be caught up. €5.-. for a night of prix is completely crazy.

These giant insects are not gadflies, but hornets. So be careful. We saw them a few years ago, also in the toilets. Keep the doors closed at night!

someone has been there before us….. The walnuts under the trees in the park are already gone this time. Camper place completely according to previous experience, and for that small amount! You do experience something different. We are probably too late in the season now; on an earlier visit we were lucky with a medieval fair.

What a difference with the campsite that used to be here. There I saw campers sinking up to their axles in the mud. Still, back to Troyes, and lo and behold! A Camper place with a capital letter. Just like Camper-car-park. Here, however, you have to buy a ticket with a QR code at the entrance, or bump your nose of course, if it is full.

Early September here on a nearly deserted campsite. €17.30 P/n. Excellent stay for visits in the area: Museum around Roman excavations and the battle of Alesia (53 BC) led by Vercingetorix (of which large statue). Also Semur and Auxois is at most 10 km away.

It is amazing how short a visit to Dijon sometimes is; there is so much to see! It is also amazing what kind of camper spot you sometimes get assigned. When it rains, some spots are real mud pools. If you go here, make sure you get a spot at or past the first toilet building. The part before it is not worth a star. The rating therefore only concerns the (first) toilet building, which is in order.

stood on the higher asphalted terrain under trees. That terrain remains dry even at high water in the river. 5 m wide places. Rates are a few euros higher than stated here. there is a rate list on the website of the campsite. if you go here, aim for the last week of the school holidays (August), and first look at fête des mirabelles. There is a lot to visit, besides the existing monuments of course 😂

As a camper since 1985, I am continually amazed at the increase in comfort and facilities. A camper place was (then?) a place where you could stay overnight, nothing more, nothing less. Here you will be pampered with electricity, good sanitary facilities and a washing machine... If this is not enough, it is better to look for a hotel. Don't you need a camper...🤭

Nothing to add to the previous enthusiasm. Only I worry that this will lead to being 'full' again and again... and that would be a shame, because I will probably come here more often!

After a few years of absence at this place, I 'landed' again. The camper place has definitely improved: where previously only the gravel strip was the parking space, it has now been moved to the park directly behind it. A huge improvement is the removal of the 'dike', which was home to plenty of vermin. can look nearby at the construction of the Jean Bart, a 17th century ship like in NL the Batavia. great spacious motorhome, with (loose) gravel always dry place. Simple payment system: upon entry a camera sees your license plate number, upon departure you enter your license plate number in the (standard) parking meter and pay cash or contactless with a bank card. Then drive up to the barrier; another camera sees your license plate and opens the barrier. So easy for those who follow the instructions on the machine.

According to the website, a luxury camping site. After clicking through, I arrive at a rate for a pitch for the motorhome at €43 per night… That will keep you awake 🫣

The barrier is open; equipment and maintenance. That will be a cheap overnight stay 🤔 It is almost full, all campers of all sizes, mostly French license plates.

Bit hard to find, but it's there. To the right of the mall exit. To the left of that exit is the pumping station.

exactly what a motorhome should be: space to park your vehicle and sufficient width to open your door and possibly put two chairs. This way you can get into conversation with other campers; just like in the past. 😜 It's a pity that some still light up the wok on the roof.... 🤔

great spot; a real camper place without fuss that apparently younger campers (than me) apparently find important. There is electricity, by the way, included. For € 10.50 (June 2023) not crazy at all. The app does, however, lack a nearby Le Pont du Hable campsite, 1.5 km to the east, and therefore closer to Point du Hoc.

nothing to add to the foregoing. Make sure you wait for the 'ticket', or receipt. It contains the code you need to exit. That receipt came to me later than the barrier opened, and so I missed it (almost). this will probably work with a delay because payment must first be made from the (Dutch) bank.
