Not a very positive experience, the campsite facilities were quite subpar. The restaurant was closed for the holidays. The bike ride along the Ems River is also not a great route and, as in many places in Germany, the cycle paths are very poor. Sincerely, Erik and Marieke

I agree with previous reviews, but would like to mention as a negative point: a lot of noise from the road that passes close by. You are standing in the gravel and there is no shade. Temperature in camper was 40+ degrees at the end of the afternoon 🥵

looks like a transit camp. packed together, stinks of sewage. 45 euros for 1 night for two. no other facilities. Check out before 10:00 on the day of departure. Not bad for this camp, tomorrow morning with screeching tires from here!!

beautiful forest campsite near the center of Oudemirdum. Spacious pitches, not all suitable for a camper. Some places are located on a hill. Near IJsselmeer. As soon as you leave Oudemirdum, you are also out of the woods. Sanitary facilities sufficient. Not much water comes out of the shower...

very quiet campsite with spacious pitches. sanitary facilities outdated and not clean. we were almost alone at this campsite. At the end of June it is still pre-season here and therefore no bread can be ordered yet. The bar and restaurant are also still closed, so you have to drive/cycle 4 km to get bread or something like that.
