We didn't notice any grumpy managers or crowded pitches. It was a great campsite that I'd love to try in September or October. The kitchen even opened briefly for us, and we were given spaghetti bolognese because all the restaurants in the area were closed. You can indeed hear the road above the campsite, but it didn't bother us.

Excellent campsite for visiting the monasteries. But there's no shuttle service. The campsite closes on November 1, 2025, so it's not open year-round. There's no indication when it will reopen.

The restaurant was already closed, even though ACSI advertised it would be open until 11:00. We couldn't have a drink outside on the terrace either. This wasn't only because our dog would disturb the owner's cats, but also because family was visiting, which meant the terrace was completely full. It was a shame, because it looked like a lovely place. We looked for something else.

We completely agree with the previous reviewer. The very friendly and helpful owners were busy doing odd jobs and the restaurant was closed. They arranged a taxi that took us to a restaurant in Caion and picked us up again. And the ordered sandwiches were delivered to the camper. Beautiful surroundings where I could walk the dog. Excellent facilities. We will be back!

Definitely recommended for those who want peace in a rural environment. Camping owner Estrella provides a warm welcome and a delicious evening meal. Also straight camper places at the bottom of the campsite in the grass. Nice walks with the dog. We will definitely come back.

Although it is indicated everywhere, even at the entrance gate of the campsite, that March 28 is the opening date, the campsite only opened on April 15. Really very annoying after a day of driving and no alternatives nearby.

Lovely place. Through the forest to the beach. Too bad there is no bread service when the camping restaurant is still closed. But a good restaurant is a 5-minute walk away. Recommended. Good price/quality ratio.

Great for a visit to Porto. Sanitary dated, but very clean. Unfortunately only 2 amps, but very helpful and friendly staff. We paid 11 euros per night. Delicious food at Casa Helene next to the campsite.

Permanent residents pointed out to us a nice spot still available on this nice, therefore always full, campsite. When it rains there is always mud. But after rain often comes sunshine again. We will be staying here for at least a week.

Great location for a visit to Silves. Very nice manager and fair price. Only very strange and very strange Dutch people who found it necessary to judge our driving style while cursing and cursing. But of course that wasn't due to the location.

Thought it was a great campsite. For 5.95 you can take the taxi down to the boulevard of Nazare. Then of course dogs cannot come along. But there are plenty of exhaust options around the campsite. Be careful when crossing.

Great campsite for a visit to Porto. We were here with 3 campers. Four adults and 7 dogs. The dogs had a great time running on the beach. Had no problems at all as described in other reviews. We would love to come again.

CC and the reviews give the impression that this is a small campsite. But it is a huge complex with about 500 places that is now called Ostsee Katharinenhof and costs Euro 55 for 1 night (camper 7 meters, 2 adults, 2 dogs). Nothing wrong with that and everything is fine, but we don't like huge holiday complexes.
