Stayed here last week. Slept peacefully, plenty of hiking opportunities, not many restaurants open at the time. You're pretty close to each other, though. The terminal wasn't working, so book in advance.

A super friendly welcome! We received a lovely gift for our dog. Spacious paved pitches with a lawn. Clean and warm restrooms. Excellent showers! An easy walk to Houffalize. A personal opinion for any future ideas: keep this for campers only :). Very quiet location. No road noise.

Pitches are a bit on the narrower side. Well-paved, though. Not a long walk to Barvaux or Bomal. Quiet cycling and walking path. Well-maintained and warm sanitary facilities. Generally peaceful sleep, except for a few fellow campers who didn't stay quiet until late. Perhaps choose between campervans or caravans/rooftop tents. Friendly owner, as well as friendly brasserie owners.

Only Mastercard (Visa) is accepted at the terminal. Very quiet. There's a butcher and baker in the village. Not much else to do. (Partly) paved pitches are a real bonus this season.

Quiet location with spacious pitches. Right on the dunes. The dog run was convenient for our puppy. A short walk away is a lovely, atmospheric café where dogs are adored (El Dia). Shops and the sea are a short distance away. We were there in early December, when it wasn't very crowded.

Paved gravel parking lot with electricity and water. Toilet not used. It was very windy when we were there, but it was quiet. We visited the bridge, which was definitely worth it. There are two possible walks to get there (paved and unpaved). We stayed overnight from October 27th to October 28th.

Spacious paved pitches, quiet, and a good price (€10 + possibly extra for electricity and water). We did occasionally encounter cars driving up at unnecessarily high speeds. Close to many shops.

Very quiet. During our stay, the power went out. We called about this. The technician was supposed to come today. The trash cans were too small. Beautiful walking area with woods. The address led us to the parking lot for the CP.

First time here. Not so spacious places but if everyone is quiet, this is good to do. As previously indicated currently free (see previous review). Nice bike ride. Catering nearby, as well as a Delhaize.

3.5 stars. Spacious pitches. Japanese garden nearby. Visited but not as big as expected. Still some traffic noise. Stayed from 17/4 to 19/4.

Stayed overnight from 16 to 17/4. The "real" spots were quickly full. The line in front also towards late evening. Visited the mine, we thought it was worth it. We were woken up early by the rooster behind our mobile home.

Stayed overnight from 4 to 5 April. Unfortunately, 2 places for mh's were occupied by regular cars. Too bad actually because this limits your choices. These were eventually gone in the evening. Quite a bit of noise in the morning and evening. At night this was still okay. Nice catering facility nearby. Starting point for walks in the Kalkense Meersen. A garbage can would be handy.

Stay on 29/12: Before we entered the terrain we checked the possibilities. There are a number of places (12) near the river that are partly paved. There is a train track on the other side but that did not really bother. You have some catering nearby. Garbage bins available, toilet closed.

Pleasant place to stay overnight. A piece of green (park) opposite the CP. Larger garbage cans would be more convenient. Public toilets are available. Electricity was paying. Places large enough. Shops and restaurants nearby.

You could say faded glory. There are now also three mobile homes on the site. Many electricity points covered. There is little noise on the CP itself but around it there is a lot of traffic noise, music, ... You have no other choice if you want to visit Antwerp. Expensive for what you get. Electricity is extra to pay. However, it was not possible because of the few connection options.

Worth 2.5 stars Stood around 26/12. Positive: quiet, paved place, nice walk around Donkmeer, catering nearby Negative: illogical places, no garbage bin, expensive for what you get

We stayed here during the weekend of 14/9. We were a bit afraid of the noise of the road and the train, but that was actually not too bad. During the weekend there was no train between about 23:00 and 08:00. Places are a bit tight in terms of length. Price should also be only €18 for the rest of the year. That is already on the high side for what is included.

Actually worth 3.5 stars. Spacious places, clean sanitary facilities and close to everything. When we were there it was quiet. Not the cheapest though.

Simple and clean. What you need is there. Places could be a bit more spacious.

Parking at the bus station. So you hear these driving up and down, just like the cars that pass (during the day). Spacious places. Toilet and gray water discharge was exactly in the same hole. We didn't. As a Belgian you can also use the 4411 app to pay. As a “foreigner” it is best to provide cash (€7) (coins). Many restaurants and shops nearby. Cozy town.

Pricey, but you get something in return. Very spacious showers! We were in full sun and it was difficult for us and the MH to cool down (place 13). There were three of us and the neighbors were both facing different directions, which resulted in our space being smaller. Had a drink on the terrace. Very friendly staff. Register with the capitainerie. There you will receive the codes for the toilets and barrier. Entry is without code.

Unfortunately still not open. Too bad because it looks like a nice place.

In itself a relatively quiet place. However, you do have some passage (cars, cyclists and walkers). Toilet fairly clean. Showers not used. Terrace nearby. Unfortunately, shortly after 7am, there was noise from road workers who parked themselves just in front of our MHs half an hour before. Since yesterday evening/tonight the outer door of the men's toilets has suddenly come off its hinges. The dog from the house behind it can often be heard. Loosplaats not found (+ toilet ditto).

Actually worth 3.5 stars. Friendly lady who took payment. In principle, stand quietly, but you do hear a constant "rumbling" from a motor or fan behind the place next to the discharge point. Waste bins are around the corner in line with the discharge area. There was some noise from passers-by (at night). Bakery and shop nearby.

Park at the far back on the right. No level parking, so if you want to park level, you will need wedges. Slept peacefully. Bells don't really bother you. Tasty bread but not cheap. This weekend there was a craft market. Very nice!

Actually it is worth 3.5 stars. There are 2 toilets. Showers not used. Quiet pitch. Good base for cycling routes. Café and bakery within walking distance.

Site under construction. Very friendly reception. Garbage bins and toilet discharge included in the price. Discharging gray water is not yet possible. The rest is extra payment. Then we personally think €15 is expensive. Close to restaurants in Phillipine.

Different places with different prices. Sanitary facilities are good. Small showers (the changing area). Friendly young owners who come around for a chat. Some noise from the track during the day, but quiet at night. Westouter nearby, also not far from Rode and Zwarte Berg.

Stayed from 30/3 to 1/4: Very friendly help to give us a place. We could then stay longer. Fair system with electricity meters. Convenient check-in and check-out system. Clean sanitary facilities. Delicious ice cream available next to CP. Still some noise from the big track behind it. Good base for cycling routes. We received delicious Easter eggs during our stay.

A bit of searching for a place where we were "just" standing. Still many places available. In the end we had to use 3 chocks to straighten us out a bit. Beautiful surroundings. FYI: Public toilets were closed. Our toilet can be emptied and flushed (free) and waste bins are available. Some noise at night (music, laughter and noise).

It was very quiet here last night, apart from the barking of a dog. There is a rubbish bin. Toilet closed. Great for 1 night. No more walking, except through the village, because it was already too late.

Beautifully maintained CP. The river water was already quite high. All facilities work well. We only had to bathe again for electricity (the next morning) because we suddenly ran out.

Price is not too bad (€12 incl. electricity). It wasn't very busy yet, so in some places you were a little further apart from each other. Just a shame about some of their anti-social camping behavior (taking up 2 places, being noisy until 11pm and starting back before 8am, playing music, opening the awning, slamming doors, etc.). Please be aware that you are not alone!

Spacious pitches, but chocks are required. Very quiet at night. Discharge and toilet included in the price. Electricity is surplus. Tip: Hang an information sheet on how to use the electricity. Well helped on the way by the owner. Pleasant busy village with several taverns.

28/10: We were there alone for a while, in the evening another MH was added. 5 spacious pitches with electricity and discharge for €8. Electricity: plug 10 does not work! Great help by telephone because we had taken plug 10. Had a very quiet night. Perhaps keep in mind that if it is football, it can be noisier. Very cozy café in the village (Le Fût). Orval is the trump card there.

Very kindly received by the man of the house. We each got an egg for breakfast and there was coffee. We were there alone (29/9). Beautiful and spacious pitches. Chickens, horses and cows all around.

Very kindly received by the owner and daughter-in-law. Beautiful and large pitches with neatly mowed grounds. Usually quiet but this period there was a beach party and trigger the trek in the area. Slightly noisy but ca va really. Good connections in terms of cycling junctions. Maaseik, Roermond, Kinrooi and Thorn visited. Worth the effort! We will definitely come back!

Stayed about 28/07. Friendly reception. Beautiful paved pitches with a piece of grass. All amenities and local products available. Ice cream in long oval molds were tasty! Restaurants nearby (eg: Hof v Commerce). Worth 3.5 stars.

Discovered by chance. Slept peacefully. Had a drink in the restaurant next door. Too bad about the bad weather otherwise we could do a bike ride. Toilet and gray water emptying possible. Need wedges to fit. There was still enough room. Bakery closed until 31/7. Good location to be self-sufficient. Taking current is possible.

Many places to stand (next to the high hedge (3), next to the park (3 to 4), near the houses (2), next to the toilet (2). We were there last night with 4. Nice park and village with many beautiful flowers. Slept peacefully. Discharge toilet and dirty water possible, as well as fill water. Toilet available (free). Small shop in the village. Nothing else open (no café, bakery closed). There were a number of young people in the evening on the playground but were not bothered by it.

Spacious pitches on grass or gravel. Via the app you will find out how many places are still available. Price is €16.50 (+€5 if you don't have a card yet). Water, electricity, toilet and water discharge, filling water and wifi. We didn't use the latter. 4 empty places available. Via cycle path behind the CP quickly at the Mont-st-Michel. You can cycle up to the mountain, parking to the left of the entrance. How hard to see.

Decent places. Got a bit soggy from the rain. Traffic noise & not just from the viaduct. Especially from the traffic that just passes by. We noticed that it started to get busy from 6am and they were just emptying the dumpsters. Discharging water and toilet was no problem but again no water to flush the toilet. Some dog owners are allowed to clean up the feces. Not nice to walk in. Honfleur nearby.

Nice view just beyond the parking lot. Everyone gave each other space so it was pleasant to stand. In the beginning there were still cars in between, but that didn't last. You have to take the wind with you at times. Sometimes it can go well. You have a garbage can down the road and that's it. Most of the fellow campers were sleeping peacefully and peacefully. Good stop for 1 night. You can walk down in 2 ways (gravel path / road).

Decent places, a bit small in length (our mh is 7m and we passed the hedge because you need wedges to stand). Relatively quiet. Nothing open in the village on Friday 21/7, so buying tokens was not possible. Loosplaats with iron frame does not seem convenient. A fellow camper received a visit who parked awkwardly (at the discharge area). Last night there was a theater show on the lawn for kids. Water and electricity payable.

Paved pitches with a nice view. Some passage and the rooster crowed from 4 am to 8 am. Every hour that minus 1 x went off shore. He's in the garden next door. Definitely audible in places 1,2 and 3. After a rest break, it started again after 9 am. Cost €10 excluding electricity and water. Garbage cans present, had to be emptied on our arrival. Money is collected in the evening. You can empty the toilet, no water to rinse it out (or paying).

Quiet caper place, with a beautiful view and spacious well-kept pitches! Good starting point for cycling trips to and around Tournai! 15 euros is a correct price, but for us also the maximum price :-) Only tip: find another payment system ... it on and waiting to receive payments is still of the old stamp and control of freeloaders who arrive late and leave early :-) But we had a friendly welcome!

Very quiet and could sleep well. Friendly patrons. Visit every evening between 7 and 9 pm. Living across the street (no. 8). You can also pay via mailbox at the water point. All comfort available and a good price. Good starting point for cycling routes.

We wanted to be here but places are not paved and before we got ourselves stuck, we continued. Too bad really! The view was beautiful and it seemed quiet. The places for the cars are paved, but not for an MH. A missed opportunity! Expensive electricity (€1/1h). Own choice whether you use it. Enter through the barrier and exit via a different road.

Very quiet CP with electricity. Booking in advance is useful, just a pity about their rule (no standing for 24 hours when I arrive after 11 am). We wanted to refuel with water, but this was not possible. Places spacious and paved.

Dead end street, no facilities but very quiet at night! This morning we only had the farmer who had to fill his manure carts, but it's not every day now! Recommended for a night! Is an inn nearby where you can eat and drink. There is a bicycle junction just on the corner!

Quiet place, quiet village with good eateries. Stayed 1 night and was very quiet! There were a total of 7, of which 2 are probably from villagers who park their camper here… Emptying of gray water and toilet are free. Water and electricity are payable! Slightly sloping so if you want to be level, bring along some good wedges! Spacious pitches.

Slept peacefully this night. Many places, is also quiet weekend now. Sani column should be maintained better. But this also depends on the tourism that used to be here… No problems with nearby Delhaize. Good food in Barvaux. enough choice!

Very friendly welcome from Mark and the owner. There was still room (25/2) and were able to reserve a place for my parents-in-law. Nice bike ride. Had a quiet night and handy bread service. Discharging and emptying the toilet was no problem. You could also take electricity, but we did not need it.

Friendly owner. He made a special place for us at the back of the parking lot. Nice brasserie and quiet.

This one was closed today - we don't know until how long and if it will still open. There was not much information or at least not what we saw.

In the evening and morning still some traffic that passes. Quiet at night, some noise from ducks / birds in the area. Sometimes made a lot of noise. Parking is also sometimes used to turn around (cars). Quiet now but think when the campsite is open, more noise and crowds. We were there with three so plenty of room. No facilities (as indicated) but not a problem for us. Ideal for an overnight stay.

Slept here on the night v 6/1 on 7/1. First asked if there was room to come and eat in the evening. That was no problem. Very friendly staff. Fast service and good food. I am a light sleeper and still heard the train regularly. The last time at 11:30 PM and the first time at 6:30 AM. You have 2 car parks (P1 and P2) that you have to enter according to the weather. This is when you enter the parking lot.

Slept from 4/1 to 6/1. Top! Quiet area. It was a bit of a search to get in but all in all went smoothly. Spacious and clean pitches. Visited the castle (especially for the view). Recommended: La fille de boulanger (fresh whipped cream and cosiness everywhere). Bakery open in the morning.

Beautiful, large pitches and a quiet place to stay. If you want electricity, you either have to have a long cable or be lucky enough to be close by. The real pitches are actually the ones below with pebbles. That's 10. If you want electricity then you definitely need a long cable. The rubbish bin is at the pebble places. Electricity with tokens (tourism office). Short walking distance to the village. Castle visited (€11).

Nice view and large pitches. Garbage can present and toilet emptying possible. Electricity could not be used with the bank card or visa. You couldn't flush the toilet because there was no water. Slept peacefully until 8:15 am. Then they came to empty the bin and this made a lot of noise.

Stood here on 3/11. There were already two other MH and after us someone else came. It is quiet in itself, but you still have noise from traffic. The place (larger parking behind the school) further on was not possible due to works. You are close to the town and we had a good meal at the Chinese.

No more room on 2/11 so stood outside. This is actually not allowed, but had no control. It is allowed between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Quiet place outside the barrier. (Public) toilet accessible and clean.

It was clean, and relatively quiet (keep in mind the traffic noise). There were many places and the toilet is included. You could also discharge dirty water and toilet (free). You still had to pay for showers and electricity. We found it expensive compared to what you get. We paid €12.30 for the place. Everything works with a badge. Trier visited, but was less our thing.

If one of us doesn't have a good feeling with a CP, we drive on. So we did. For the TV lovers this place is not a good idea. Beautiful places. There were still 2 available on 2/11. We also think it is a good idea to stand still.

We didn't stop. It took us a while to find it. Our GPS acted weird when we took CC's address. We still had to detour. We drove on because we had no GSM reception and it was not feasible to watch TV. If one of us 2 has a "bad" feeling, we don't stop.

We stopped and left again. Probably very quiet but is quite “expensive” for what it is. When we left again a lot of quads and cross bikes passed us. Maybe another time :).

Beautifully maintained CP. We paid €12.29 (€9.99 place, €2.30 tourism tax). 2 showers and 2 toilets (both neat). Warm water but not such a good stream. Toilets accessible with a code that you receive on your ticket after payment. Lots of apple trees on the property that bore a lot of fruit. Quiet CP, often passing train. Nice view too. Discharge was easy, as well as refilling with water. The trash cans could be emptied, there were a lot of flies in it

There were exactly 4 places available. Quite close together. We drove on to somewhere else. Not far from there but no designated CP.

Fully booked, another gathering of huskies. Continued to another CP.

Slept last night, fairly quiet, wedges / levellers needed, paying water, toilet discharge possible. No waste water discharge point found. 1x heard the neighbor's dog but that is already.

Beautiful surroundings and fast everywhere. The pitches are somewhat narrow but sufficiently long. You can hear the train passing. It stops from 11pm-6am. The barrier sometimes acts weird. You must use your bank card to enter and exit. So pay attention if the barrier is already open, because you can't get off. The person in charge is quickly on site in case of problems. Check the price when you leave. A pastor charged too much, not us.

Very quiet CP. We were there with 3 and later 4. There were already three campers / cars with remorque for oldtimers on arrival. These only arrived on Saturday evening with their oldtimers and immediately drove 2 away. No nuisance from this. The trash cans were overflowing. Easy walking/cycling to the center. During the day, cars of athletes or parents of athletes. This was not a nuisance either.
