Quiet campsite, beautiful grounds with ponds and bridges. And a lake to swim in. Plenty of and excellent sanitary facilities. Washing dishes under a canopy. There is a fenced off-leash area for dogs. In the evening everyone was in their camper/caravan because of the showers and a deer came grazing between the campers. The next morning a deer even swam through the lake.

The campsite consists of two parts, we were on the small, back part. This part was 3/4 full. Here is water, wifi and a dry toilet. On the way to the campsite we already spotted the first moose, after that more followed.

Two fields for campers: one above at the sanitary building and one below at the lake at 2-3 minutes walk from the sanitary. Furthermore about 100 permanent places. Very quiet, we were the only guests (beginning of June) and you only hear the many birds. The campsite could use an update, everything shows that it used to be good, but now it is outdated and not everything works so well anymore. It is clean and the manager is friendly.

What a lovely campsite! Fantastic walks directly from the campsite or in the immediate vicinity. During one of these walks we spotted musk oxen with a very young calf. All the fields along this road are not for overnight stays. This is not indicated everywhere, but is on a large sign at the top.

Completely agree with the previous review that this could also get six stars, everything is right here. Another tip: across the road starts a short walk up. After more than half an hour up you will arrive at a beautiful hytte where you have a fantastic view.

It is the end of May, not a public holiday and the campers and caravans are directed together like a kind of Tetris. If you are in the middle, the next morning it is a puzzle if you want to get out. A handful of places have a view of the mountains, the rest only see the camper or caravan of the neighbors. Sanitary facilities clean and tidy and friendly managers. If you are used to camper places it is fine here.

For a weekday in May it was, compared to the other reviews, 'busy' with at least 10 caravans. The campsite is large, so we still experienced it as quiet. Well-maintained self-service campsite. There are canoes that you can use. For the bird lovers: there are many wrynecks here, even in the tree where we stood with our camper.

What a fantastic place for nature lovers: the fieldfares are foraging around your camper and you walk straight into a beautiful peat area. The road to it is paved, there is some gravel here and there, and wide enough to pass oncoming traffic. If you encounter any traffic, the number of cars that drive past the campsite every day can be counted on one hand. Excellently maintained campsite with clean sanitary facilities and a friendly hostess.

Beautiful view over the fields, enjoyed the deer, hares and the kestrel that lives behind the barn. Lovely walk. A ten minute walk away is a shelter plads with a nature playground, and a large raft to go over the water. Friendly hostess.

Quiet, green campsite. Run by a friendly couple. The toilets are up to date and clean. At the back of the campsite you can enjoy a lovely walk between the fields.

Lovely, simple campsite. The sanitary facilities were very clean and more than sufficient. The managers were friendly, we arrived earlier than 6 p.m. and we were assigned a spot, so payment could be made again at 6 p.m. You can walk straight from the campsite, up to the castle and back in an hour and a half. In the naturfreundehaus you can eat delicious food, get an ice cream or drink a beer.

Nice, quiet campsite. The camper part is beautifully green with a paved path in the middle. The sanitary facilities are a bit older but neatly clean. From the campsite we took a beautiful walk along the three lakes on the mountain, using OpenStreetMap. Friendly manager who speaks excellent English, he was busy doing odd jobs, his telephone number is at reception. Great restaurant.

Neat campsite with trees and grass, during our stay the trees were in bloom, it was beautiful. Nice view of the mountains around. Large and clean toilet block with many toilets and showers, you never have to wait. There are also large areas for laundry and dishes. You can enjoy delicious food at the pinseria next to/on the campsite. The campsite is located next to a railway line, but we did not see a train during the four days we stayed there.
