what a great site, spacious green grassy ex- campsite on the river. ideal for dogs with lovely riverside walks. walk to Intermarché 10 mins. town walkable although we didn’t. cant comment on facilities because we were self contained, but everything looked clean and well maintained. lots of bins and electrical points, at E2/2hrs. stay cost E6.60. card payment only. automated barrier system worked well. thank you Moulins.

28 Dec 24. Barrier working, easy card payment for ticket with access scan code. E11. However, a different system to get electricity ( and black waste/water) which was a nightmare. It wasn’t just us, some very frustrated French and Dutch too. Be prepared to be “off grid” because facilities are not guaranteed. Seems not to like iPhones . Admin - Look at how slick Camping-car Park is.

15-17 Nov 2024. An oasis of calm with immaculate facilities. The best we have found in Morocco. Also ordered a delicious ( generous) couscous and pudding to the van. The pool is lovely - if cool in November. They arranged a taxi into Essaouira for the day - MAD 250 return. Do not be put off by the access - I now understand the phrase “ corrugated road”- just take it slow. It is SO worth it.

In spite of Google maps saying it was temporarily closed we decided to give it a go. Entry by card payment, E20.20 for 2 nights with EHU and all facilities. It was about 1/3 full, we got a front row plot overlooking the marina. Lovely view, facilities work, walked the dogs on the beach, a take out within 5 mins for chips to supplement supper. Very pleased with the site although we’d probably hate it in high season.
