We stayed here on New Year's Eve (25/26). Both campervan parking areas opened last week and are located directly after the exit to the holiday park. All pitches are paved with gravel and equipped with a barrier with a number code. Each pitch has its own sanitary building with several showers and toilets. The reception is located down by the river, where there's also a bistro with food and drinks and a shop with a sandwich service. The road is steep and slippery!

Great campsite, shop within walking distance, and a great starting point for a Laki crater tour (Secret Island tours with a superhero). It lasts 8 to 9 hours and is highly recommended. Upon your return, enjoy a nice shower (6 tokens???) and eat at the nearby restaurant. More campsites should be like this. Note: The campsite fills up nicely in the evenings, like all campsites in Iceland.

Great location with nice bathrooms, but I don't understand the sometimes negative reviews. This is exactly what we campers are looking for. No reception, but all the amenities and wonderfully quiet. Gas station, supermarket, restaurant within walking distance, and a swimming pool nearby. We had great weather and enjoyed the view.

Simply a beautiful place, we were here on August 25th with 5 campers and were able to enjoy the nice weather and the wonderful view.

Arrived on November 24 and there is 1 camper bus, very quiet but we like that. The public lighting does not work so in the evening and at night pitch dark. But that is not bad because although the temperature is still fine (18 degrees during the day) you are still inside in the evening. The water, the unloading place and the electricity all work fine and there are waste bins. For us certainly worth 4 stars as a CP on the road.

Great place for a visit to the city. The power connections are now equipped with a blue CEE socket 🤓 For our overnight stay we prefer a quieter place. But each to his own, one likes peace and the other likes to be in the city.

Lovely quiet, order bread via QR code and then the baker will put it ready for you in a crate at the ski lift. Water + grey water drainage and emptying toilet at water tap on the access road. In the village a fine hotel-restaurant (20 minutes walk) with Dutch owners where we had a great meal.

indeed a challenging way up but if the garbage truck can go up (it did before us) then it will work with the camper too. When we arrived at the top we found a spot on the parking lot in front of the hotel/restaurant no electricity needed. We had a great schnitzel for less than €40– incl. 4 half liters of white beer. The next day we went for a nice walk and left again in the afternoon. Costs for the overnight stay €10,—.

lovely place, didn't know an airport could be so quiet. And the museum is indeed very large, good to show part of aviation history. we were here with 2 other campers and a car with a caravan. Not 5 stars because of the sanitary facilities, but we have that in the camper.

12.06.24 We are here with 7 other campers. A beautiful spot for €15 (just put in an envelope in the letterbox) toilet is neat, trash cans available, clean water available. No possibility to discharge gray water and/or toilet cassette. There are 2 sockets on a lamppost, but I have no idea whether they are intended for campers.

were there this afternoon indeed full, even campers in the parking lot for cars. We drove on to the CP at the Marina 5km away. Very well put together, but quite slanted places, so blocks are definitely needed. Excellent sanitary facilities on site and electricity (if you need it) you pay per kW. There is also an excellent eatery there.

a very strong 5 stars, great sanitary facilities, friendly staff and although the campsite is quite large, you are almost alone at the back of the camper place. Right on the water and a nice walking area for the dog. We stayed here for 3 nights, what a rest.

well, what else can I add? A fantastic place with perhaps the friendliest staff I have met so far. A very nice country store with an extensive range and indeed beautiful sanitary facilities on the CP.

Now (4&5 September) relatively quiet, but clearly the end of the season, the attractions and rentals are closed and there is a lot of cleaning going on, no problem with the nice weather these days. Swimming, cycling or walking is of course possible, the toilets are open and the bistro is also. Bread from the machine as mentioned before. A nice place but I would not want to be here in high season. I suspect it will be very busy then.

A gem so close to the highway that you don't even notice it. At night, completely silent and pitch dark. You have to be a bit creative with parking and if you want to be completely level, there are also places to park further in the forest. Toilet was neat and open all night. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Nice place for walking and swimming.

very quiet place at this time of year and a great starting point for a visit to the mountain, the monastery and the basilica. a somewhat strange guard who likes to tell you how to park your camper. But it's nice that there is supervision.

€18, plus €4 for electricity, within walking distance of the beach and boulevard. very helpful staff at check-in. Toilet and showers are not special, but as is often said: we have them on board too.

After we had registered at the barrier, it was opened remotely. the owner arrived moments later with a golf cart. We were allowed to choose a shady spot by the lake. Camper parked and had a lovely swim, lots of entertainment and water sports on the lake. Nice terrace with nice blond beer on tap! at the reception where there is also a swimming pool. Showers are male/female and neat and tidy. just like the toilets (with toilet paper) Recommended!

Tonight we spent the night in the parking lot in front of the gate of the campsite because there was no room left at the campsite. This morning at half past nine we were still able to enter the campsite where we found / got a shady place, which is so nice with the current temperatures (+30 degrees). A nice service from the owner and because it will be very warm in the coming days, we will stay here for a few days. wonderful place, lovely bathing water and very quiet.

Wonderful place, plenty of space, quiet (even now on weekends with 30+) and very nice for us that there are no facilities except for a garbage can.

July 23, 2024. €71.30 per night for a camper, electricity, 2 people and a dog. Serious money for a motorhome and moderate facilities. we are now gone.

today September 4 plenty of space, we are at the (quite wild) river to have plenty of shade there. restaurant, shop, sanitary facilities and swimming pool all in tip-top order

nice spot, also in autumn, albeit on top of the dike, the places behind the dike are probably less accessible. A busy Waal, so watch boats, have a nice meal at restaurant Aan Dek, which is currently open until 8 p.m. Cozy such a floating restaurant next to your camper.

Well organized here. Nice place that is very well occupied. But you can also enjoy walking, cycling and so on here.

22.10.21 Overnight here, great quiet place. power column did not work (out of season?) but the toilets were open, there was water. In short: a good place to stay. In the village a grocer/bakery for fresh bread and small errands. The public lighting on the CP was partly defective.

Arrived here today after a drive through the interior. neatly kept place, no further facilities. The nearby restaurant will not open until Friday. We stood here alone.

Wow, this CP has been completely overhauled and the area around it is/will be beautifully landscaped. Cheers to the city of Moulins. Quite an improvement over a few years ago.

Perfect for the motorhome parking on the beach. and now for free too. Make sure you have done your shopping and have water with you because apart from some waste containers and 2 (not very fresh) toilets (a bit dixi- esteemed), there is only a beautiful beach.

Indeed. a boring place along a busy road, great for transit further very little to do.

11-10-21 Bought a pass at the gate and found a great spot. There are about 30 campers but we can take water and empty the cassette, everything else is now closed. It is clear to see that the water in the Ardèche has been very high. But the CP is not bothered by that. The CPs and campgrounds further south we tried today clearly do. They were therefore closed. slept well

11-10-21. almost a deserted place. the gate is defective so you can drive straight into the parking lot. somewhat dilapidated, lots of weeds but free and on the Ardèche. what more do you want.

Still very busy on October 9th, but fine for transit. and the facilities: well…. it's all a bit of being creative there. We have most of it in the camper anyway.

May 17, we were alone here, nice and quiet although there is plenty of walking and cycling on the bike path along the lake. You arrange water and toilet at the adjacent (mini) campsite. The rate was € 12.50 for 2 people + camper (without electricity because we don't need that) free WiFi.

Just fat for each other.

10.01 Spend the night here with 2 campers idd a bit of a gritty place but everything is just fine for an overnight stay in transit with a walk or bike ride to the city of Worms. Sani station (paid) is idd left from the motorhome at about 200m.

Great spot, also small landing place for boats nearby, well lit and idd bakery (s) are nearby and also a cafeteria. The current points that are being written about are intended for boat passers who moor at the jetty. The service column was closed and out of use on November 1st

Are here tonight with 3 campers probably all passers-by on their way to or back from Portugal. We certainly do. The only thing we couldn't find is a garbage can. Furthermore, very nice that the facilities are free. A lot of countries can learn something from that.

Mix parking near church, garbage can and a street lamp further there are a few cafes and a grocery store within walking distance. It is not a CP but it is a good base for walking or cycling in the area.

Are here today with about 7 campers, unfortunately still quite a bit of rain due to the bad weather of yesterday. By the way, you have little trouble with that in the camper. Furthermore, it looks well cared for

Lovely place, small but nice certainly applies here. After the CPs in Germany (big, massive and lots of rules) this was a relief. We had the biggest motorhome spot and still had a nice swim. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed today but at the reception there is a cozy terrace where you can serve coffee, soda, and various beers, and you can also serve soup and toasted sandwiches.

Still a very nice and quiet place, last night we were here with 3 campers, coincidence? all Dutch.

Great place on the water with all amenities, the review of Peterda below probably refers to the Ikea parking just before the border crossing and is therefore displayed at the wrong CP. We were here in transit on July 16, 2020.

Idd a nice place right on the beach the campsite is well filled at the end of the day with lots of hikers with tents. But that is all very pleasant. When we were there, the capacity of the gray-white well and the empty space for the chemical toilet was somewhat overloaded.

What a wonderfully idyllic place this is, rest a babbling river and a few nice restaurants in this tiny village. Just a beautiful place. Public toilet at 150 meters. Great hiking opportunities. Recommended.

Prima CP not far from the A61, we were here on our way to Austria. Wonderfully quiet, large P-terrain near sports hall and swimming pool. 4 CEE power connections with coin machine (euro coins) and a trash can here and there. Great place for a Camperaar.

Prima CP on a small lake and a village with plenty of shops, a restaurant etc. The CP has recently been refurbished so that camper can now stand next to each other on the water. Beautiful sani column with possibly 2 power connections (paid)

Despite its size, the CP is quite quiet with plenty of shady places (under the trees) and sufficient paved areas in the parking lot. The area is very touristy with many stalls and eateries, but mainly holiday homes / apartments. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to enter the water here. Applies both to the lake and to the sea.

26 August stood here after we tried some full CPs on the coast. The local road BI-2238 is indeed busy and well audible.

I join Taxus, just a wonderful place and surprising how such a large CP can be so serene and quiet. Water can possibly take daily with your parking ticket. Evening showers on the beach or in your camper.

Neat spacious camper pitches which on a fairly busy main road is therefore some traffic noise. Village with a few shops / restaurants just a few hundred meters away. In the village small-scale canoe and water bike rental.

Last night stood on the parking lot at the Lyceum which is a few hundred meters from the Mairie and that is a nice place, quiet, public (French) toilets present, well lit, paved surface which slopes slightly (ramps). Nice old village with plenty of shops, a lot of height differences, but that belongs to this kind of old towns / villages.

Very neat place and idd completely free, how is it possible and also nice walking in the vicinity.

What a nice place, unfortunately only room for two campers but they also accept it if you stand on the regular parking next to the farm. The food in the restaurant is great as well as the garden terrace. But also the environment is more than worthwhile to walk or cycle.

20.05.18 The work is finished and the result is a beautiful (asphalted) mixed parking. No special camper pitches but plenty of space. We were here at Pentecost and on Saturday it was very quiet on Sunday the parking lot was gradually filled with cars from people who go hiking, canoeing or something to drink on the nearby terrace at the dam. Absolutely recommended this CP

Recently a footpath was constructed of a (new) parking lot that runs past the CP. This is probably intended for visitors to the swimming pond. By the way, dogs are not allowed in or near the water. 24 August 2017

Beautiful place, I just do not understand why so many campers are going to the parking lot in front of you (you probably need a river pond)? A little way down on the grass you can really camp. Furthermore, a lovely hiking / cycling area between the apple orchards. Stayed there for 2 nights on Saturday with 15 campers and on Sunday with 7 (12th and 13th of August 2017)

Beautiful place, quiet and a beautiful hiking area on 06-08-17 we had a total of 3 campers.

What a nice place, and nice wine too, € 4, - return on your ticket when you buy a box of wine so € 6, - for the site including water, power and superb facilities (toilets and showers), sandwiches. service and weekend food in the Stube. Highly recommended.
