Nice campsite for an overnight stop. Basic but clean.

Very quiet campsite, with residents. Camping pitches are by a ditch which was rather smelly, but maybe due to lack of rain, there was no getting away from the smell? The washrooms were tired but very clean. Lovely village with fab architecturally built houses. We obviously chose a weekend of a local music festival in a nearby village as the music was on all night till 6.30am, some of it was good😂

This campsite was ideal for us as we needed an overnight on our travels. Friendly reception and pitches were nice and big with water at each pitch. Yes there is overnight noise but you are literally off the dual carriageway. Nice walks for the dog. Washrooms are spotless, we would use the site again if passing this way.
