Excellent facility and friendly welcome. Very peaceful night . Bought some wine but came with that intention. As others have said water and electricity probided at no charge. Recommended

We loved it at this site. We only intended to stay for 2/3 days and stayed for a week. Small site with limited facilities but more than enough for a restful break. Not really near any restaurants or shops that you can walk to but a lovely walk opposite. Pool clean and well maintained. Friendly helpful staff.

Did not stay overnight but you can park for 4 hours for €5 which gave us time to visit the city. The parking area is about 15 minutes flat walk from Piazza Bra. Felt safe as there was a lot of coming and going . looked full when we left at 2.30pm. Did see a sign for a camera outside but not sure what it focused on

Super friendly reception and overall helpful staff. Toilet facilities good and right by the lake but in a marshy area so no path to walk along and not much nearby. Ok for one night

Came here because our first choice was full. Waited over 4o minutes to be told that our 8 meter van wouldn’t fit on any of the ACSI. pitches and not only would we have to pay extra but we would also have to pay €7 for tne dog. Taking tne P*** or what! We left

Arrived to be informed that the site was full but for a luxury pitch at €69. There is a private bathroom on the pitch but as we were only staying one night they locked it which seemed a bit petty. The included travel card we used to go on the cable car and in the museum to see the Iceman. We probably saved at least €50 . The site is pleasant and well cared for, heated showers nice restaurant

Found this place behind a municpal bin store. Nothing nearby, an aire not a campsite. Not very nice location and quite isolated. Very expensive at €40 drove away

Weather awful but stunning location. Lovely walk along the lakeside and dog friendly. Can swim in the lake which is described as refreshing! Lots of water sports but nothing when we were there. Small friendly bar and restaurant but all food from freezer. Great for a couple of days but nothing there which was part of the charm

Excellent facility and a 15 minute walk into Ravenna. Surprisingly quite night and at € 2.25 an absolute bargain. Some public toilets and a cafe open during the day. Lots of campers coming and going so felt very safe. Bit concerned about low emissions zone as the site was inside it. Hopefully no bad news when we get home

Excellent site a two minute walk to the boat stop then €10 return to the dock area north of Venice. Bus stop 15 minute walk away €18 per night plus an extra €4 if you want electric. Showers ok and clean , huge park adjacent for dog walking. Only concern is that the only way to access is through a low emissions zone as we haven’t got home yet we don’t know if this is an issue

The site was €10 for 2 adults and a dog, with electric. There is a Supermarket and Macdonalds just up the hill. 10 minutes to the beach, 15 to the town, 20 to the station. Caught the train to Porto direct from here and this really is the only reason to come. Super friendly helpful staff. The neglect of this site is tragic. There are two sizes of pitch and at 7 metres we opted for the larger one which is €3 more expensive but we can get our table and chairs out. Good facilities and friendly staff.Lots of Brits here , the best and the worst! Bar can get rowdy at night

By the time we arrived at 4.00pm all 6 of the EHU points was taken. some vans looked like they had been there quite some time. Parked up anyway and had a peaceful night. Toilets locked. Town is home to the museum of ham . not much more than one Main Street but fine

Very nice site with a back gate which takes you right onto the harbour and then a short walk to the old town, which is delightful. Overall very high standard, small shop and cafe. Toilets are excellent which is why the showers are such a disappointment. They are in a different block to the toilets and they charge €1 for hot water unless you get the man from the bar to alter the settings. Paid€22 with ACSI

Easy to find and get into although the weight and height restrictions will affect some. 20 minutes walk to the centre but a bus does stop outside. Other motorhomes parked there. Some young people on scooters came and stood chatting to each other until quite late which did spook us. €2 per hour. No facilities. Other parking looked better but further out and you would not be able to walk in. Not really another option if you don’t want to use a shut

Large site and about 15 minutes walk to the town arch. Following advice from others bought two tickets as using two spaces. .50cents for 1 hour no mention of bus tickets. Walk was fine and flat. Plenty of room but looked busy and we did not stay overnight but great for visiting the town

Nice small site generally well maintained with friendly staff. Cant give 5* as the showers are the smallest I have ever seen, only just one shower tray wide so everything got wet. Pool, but closed when we were there. Good location

Beautiful location and we were lucky to get a loch side pitch with fabulous views across to the village of Ardgour. Short walk to the ferry across the loch where there is a pub serving food. Staff super helpful and friendly. All facilities open but some COVID restrictions. Lots of lovely walks from the site both short and long including to waterfalls. Pub in village at top of the lane. Shops and supermarkets Fort William approx 12 miles away

On the main road 10 minutes from Castlebay but hardly any traffic so no disturbance. Small Sandy beach nearby great views across the bay. Clean showers and toilets in a converted shipping container. Staff helpful and friendly. No marked pitches but plenty of EHU cables.

At the end of a small road with a Sandy beach a short walk along a public path. All facilities closed due to COVID. only accepting outfits with own on board facilities. No light pollution amazing view of stars. Very peaceful. Friendly helpful staff

As you would expect high standards from the Caravan and Motorhome Club. COVID safe measures for showers and toilets. Great views of the town and sea. 5 minute walk to the beach. Main railway line goes alongside the site so some of the pitches are a bit noisy. Pub and small supermarket nearby. Bus stop outside site or 30 minutes walk into the town.

The site runs from the main road to the lake and is in woodland. Some parts of the site are quite steep and most of the pitches you will need levellers. There are little cul de sacs built into the woods so that a few vans will be in a small area. Walking to the toilet blocks is not always easy we were mid way between two so steep up hill on the way there or back. Can walk from there along the lake to the hill. Wardens very helpful

Most of the site is static mobile homes and the places for tourers are limited but all have EHU. As you would expect the people who pay more get the best views but it is only a short walk to most pitches to the loch. Due to COVID all facilities were closed including shop and cafe so a bit cut off as there is nowhere you can walk to

We adores this sit and the location. The village is lovely and there are plenty of places to walk to in the area. As you would expect of C& MH club, the site is immaculate and the facilities ditto. The COVID measures are sensible and workable. The Harbour Inn just a short walk from the site is great. The weather was gods but we thought it was idyllic

Ok but a bit functional, the pitches are laid out on stone and there is no attempt to make them more attractive or offer any privacy . Fabulous location overlooking a stunning beach which would not look out of place in the Caribbean. At the top of the hill there are 5 pitches with electric and at the bottom by the beach are pitches without EHU. There is a shower, toilet, water and chemical waste disposal. Showers £1, chemical waste £3. Run by North Harris Trust with an honesty box for donations. Cannot book and long drive if full but we were lucky and loved it

Well laid out site near to the town and a pub a short walk from the site. Showers and toilets immaculate as you would expect from a Camping and Motorhome Club site and sensible practical COVID safe measures. Stream runs through the site and a heritage railway alongside. No real views from the site but plenty nearby, great base for exploring the area

Site is lovely and well maintained. Showers etc closed due to COVID. nice easy path to the beach. E mail confirmation is very off putting with the list of rules and regs. some are necessary but they will not take a booking without pre payment and state that they will refund any monies if the government force them to close less an admin fee of £25 which seems a real cheek. Also no mention of reducing prices due to less VAT payable felt ripped off

Behind pub but quiet location. Short walk to Walcot Hall who own the pub. Pub meals and real ales. Pleasant village with small shop and not much else but good for touring the area .

A green campsite with no electric hook up. Uses rainwater and has wildlife meadows. Nice walk into town but steep walk up hill on way back. Peaceful site lots of wild birds. Lovely old town

Behind Halfway House Inn which serves meals and real ales. You can also purchase breakfast. No showers at present due to Covid but normally are. Only one male and one female toilet. Just 3 miles to Bridgnorth for old town, river and Severn Valley Railway. No real road noise but kennels behind the site have packs of dogs barking from 5.30 am

Tiered parking on grass means that all pitches have views across the surrounding hills and the lovely town of Ludlow. It’s not really walkable into the town and quite steep. Facilities ok but it’s a farm so not luxurious. Great location for hiking or visiting the area

Hard standing pads on grass. New sanitary facilities in a self contained lodge. Short walk to village pub which serves meals. Quiet site well back from road noise but just off main road so no narrow tracks.

Stunning location just by the Long Mynd with a stream running alongside the site that children can paddle in. Facilities a bit basic but the location more than makes up for it. Most of the time the site is full so you need to book. Two nice pubs that serve food 10 minute walk from the site. Hiking from the site. One mile to shops restaurants, public transport ,tourist info and train station

Great site right by the beach. Very quiet and low key. Sanitary block not open and €1 charge for 5 minutes water. Reception not open at weekends so can be difficult to get in or leave unless you pay when you arrive. Could walk into the village but quite a way. If the weather is bad sand on pitches could be problematic. Nice big pitches quite private with hedges

Lovely quiet night in pretty village. Not much going on but tabac, Boulangerie, supermarket. As stated buy tokens for electricity €2 for 6 hours. Only hassle can’t put two tokens in and get 12 hours have to let one run out first

Electricity not working so chose not to stay not sure how long for. Pleasant quiet site view of canal nothing nearby to w as ok to like shops bars etc

This is now an Aire owned by the camping car group. The electricity worked fine but some points were a long way. Sanitary block closed . May be permanent. Grass standing which was problematic given the soft ground . We managed to get out but there was plenty of signs of outfits that had struggled. No help available.Close to small town with not much going on Sunday market. Walk to river

As described hard standing plenty of space in February and near beach and some shops. Could not get WiFi to work and kettle tripped the electricity out so had to use saucepan to make a drink Not a hardship but was €11.29per night

Lovely site excellent facilities stayed for 4 nights. The beach has been badly damaged by storms so not as nice as hoped. Some road noise repairing beach but only for 2 days. Pool ok except that for some reason most people stood in the middle and chatted so it was almost impossible to swim. Staff helpful and friendly, supermarket well stocked and not over priced. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Ok but really difficult to park and negotiate the site in a larger vehicle also very steep from top to bottom. Friendly staff and good facilities. Beach ok but weather not great. Toad closed due to land slip so moving on from site means a trip back into Almeria also no buses running into the city which was our main reason for staying there. Told road to be closed for next 6 months so check

Excellent place to park and visit the old city. We parked for 2 hours and charged €1 but would have been happy to park overnight. A bit noisy when ferries come and go but fine apart from that

Also known as camping Albolafia so did not come up on sat nav. Stayed here in February although this site said closed. ACSI cost €20 which was a bit steep when there were few facilities available. That said the staff were helpful and friendly and gave us excellent information on how to get to Córdoba.Only four other pitches in use so no pressure on sanitary facilities but may be in summer

Arrived late in the evening. Plenty of space and well marked out pitches. There are showers, toilets,fresh and waste water points as well as chemical toilet emptying. There are four electric points and you pay €3 and also €3 for the pitch so is no longer free. Location as others have said by busy road but easy to find and very clean. New outdoor gym area behind cycle shop too.

Good sized pitches and reasonably quiet after around 11.00. Waste water and water point easily accessible. Short walk to town. As others have said very popular so get there early

We had a pitch at the bottom of one of the roads by the restaurant and the beach so it was quiet and private. Pool and facilities very good and all open. Could be a bit organised with classes and events but ok for a few days. Showers and sanitation excellent plenty of hot water and heated sanitary block. Long walk to other side of site but used bike and fine. Dogs allowed on beach in winter

The only reason to visit this site in my view are the wonderful spa baths. There are a number of different pools and each has a number of different water jets and the water is at least 36c. Having paid you can use the spa all day and there is a discounted rate for campers on the site. The layout of the site is awful withcramped spaces that are difficult to get into and little privacy.

Website says 800 meters to beach but more like 4km. Some parts of site very noisy so we asked to move. Pool and bar area very attractive. Indoor pool good and warm but no private showers to wash and change just a communal mixed sex one. Nothing nearby to walk to as in the mountains out of town but very peaceful

As others have described can be noisy but good place to explore Cartegena without the hassle of looking for a parking space. Supermarket and shopping complex opposite all closed now. The petrol station after the one where the site is has the cheapest diesel I have seen €1.18 per litre which works out at 99p

The site was very well maintained and the facilities were good The wellness centre was good but they change the hours each day which was frustrating. The restaurants looked very good and were very popular. But I didn’t like it. There is no where to walk to although the site is very green it is in an urban area and you have to get a bus to the beach or to town and there is nowhere to walk the dog

Despite saying the site was closed it was open today 31/12 and is open all year. Cafe closed and one of the sanitary blocks but we were the only ones here. Close to the town and along side the river so pretty position

Very difficult to find GPS took us to a different place where there was no parking but found it with google maps. Behind supermarket Conad and the motorway. Parking for 24 hours 4 Euros. Our van is 7 meters with a bike rack on the back and we were sticking out. Electric will not support a standard kettle but otherwise fine

Stunning site planned to only stay one night but stayed two and wish we could stay longer. Wellness centre is lovely and as it’s low season it was free but I would happily have paid. Staff are friendly and helpful.There is even a dog washing facility and an on site A T M. Will definitely be back

Small site between a main road and the sea. Terraced site with mature trees providing shade.Small pebble beach with gently slope into the clear sea. Internet not brilliant. The big issue for me was the showers. Only one shower for women with no light and ivy growing through the window. The bus ride around the bay to Kotor was wonderful

Could find nothing to complain, about showers roasting hot ,immaculately clean. Even hot water to wash up in. Grounds lovely ,a real relaxing break

Immaculate campsite,owner seems to spend all day cleaning. Clean showers with plentiful hot water, small restaurant.plenty of space when we stayed but could get cramped in summer. Beach opposite with loungers provided but beach is stones.

it really does have the facilities and is free. The camping is signposted and is by the back wall behind where the lorries park. There are 5 pitches all hard standing with a water and electricity point at each one. There is also a chemical toilet point. There are toilets which are immaculate but squat ones.Easy to find , the second services after the sign for Derven.

Site is four months old so everything is new. The toilets and showers are the best we have seen on our trip so far. Shale standing and did not see anywhere for tents. Vegetation a bit sparse. Bar and snacks were available. We had the site to ourselves so nice and quiet the pitches are a bit close together. Approx 3k from old town 15euros including electric and WiFi which worked very well

Located on a small perfect beach but was all closed up when we got there. Two other camper vans also pulled up and we ended up wild camping on the top of the beach. This was over a week ago and still showing as open.

Made very welcome and given some local hooch when we arrived. Also told to help ourselves to raspberries. Site seems a bit ramshackle but the facilities are great. There is a seating area as well as a barbecue with coals provided. There are no marked out pitches and the electricity cables are a bit random which may be an irritant if the site is busy.

Lovely place made to feel very welcome. Allowed to use all the facilities of the Pension as well as washing machine. Could sit in lounge at night. Highly recommended. Very peaceful close to a Lidl and near Bran, Râşnov and Braşov

Much as described by others looks a bit sparse as vegetation not yet established. Restaurant next door. Only takes cash but there is an ATM at the hotel. Has a big scary German Shepard dog which was often off the lead and our dog was terrified. Shower block excellent and washing machine great too

Good advice re location and as described 5 lev to park. The issue we had is no one would give us the key to the toilets which we’re permanently locked. All the stall holders denied having a key. Our cassette toilet was full so we had to wait till someone went in and run in after them. Nowhere else to park near Plovdiv but not great

Very pleased with site and facilities but only likely to be of interest if using the train as pitches are on gravel car park. Toilets immaculate down side is trains starting up at 7.00h

Excellent place to stop free electric hook up safe hard standing right by the river. Peaceful night. Did eat at restaurant which was great value and friendly staff all spoke English recommended

Located at a sort of outdoor centre about 500 meters from the museum. The gates are closed but not locked. There was a water tap outside but I did not see any electric points. There was an event on and the centre was open so we could use the toilets but I suspect that the centre is locked when not in use. We had a very peaceful night and were not disturbed.we felt very safe
