Six spacious pitches on well-maintained campsites in the green heart of Holland, located on a traditional dairy farm and cheese factory/cheese shop with a super hospitable owner. Wonderfully peaceful and close to charming towns like Leiden. The icing on the cake was a detailed explanation of the cows being milked. Don't forget to buy some of the delicious cheeses made here at the cheese shop!

Discovered this campground through Engel Bos's vlogs. I completely agree with his description: this is a beautiful, lovely campervan site. Well-maintained and with excellent value for money. We're going to try the double-yolk eggs at home. A campground we'll definitely return to.

Please note: Overnight stays are currently PROHIBITED in this parking lot. The sign at the parking meter clearly states this!

A new camper site that is still under construction. This means that at the moment (June 2025) there are no facilities yet, but they are being built. This is not a problem for many campers, like us. The peace and space and great owners make the stay perfect. Plenty of space on a somewhat uneven lawn, but leveling is no problem. You can make nice bike rides along the Wadden Sea dike and through the surrounding villages.

Great camper place with all facilities except electricity. Seems to be still developing into more structured places. Now still plenty of possibilities to choose a spot somewhere on the site. Directly on Vias Verdes de la Sierra de Alcaraz; a very nice cycling route. Some noise from nearby highway but not disturbing and quiet at night. All in all recommended.

Quiet CP with space for three, two of which are now used by (probably) long-term parking French people. The only free space is a bit sloping but with adjustable feet or blocks it is easy to do. No action today at the football field and sports hall at about 150 meters. There is also a possibility to discharge grey and black water and waste. All in all definitely recommended.

A very nice overnight accommodation with a hospitable owner of a bicycle shop and tearoom. Partly paved and also a large lawn to stand. In this wet season the lawn is not recommended. Limited facilities but for self-sufficient campers a beautiful spot. The intention is to use something in the tearoom in exchange for the free overnight stay. We enjoyed the real English breakfast there.

Nice CP on the canal with space for 4 campers. Friendly and helpful owner and all facilities for care available (electricity extra charge). Standard price is a very reasonable 10 pounds. Owner runs a shop with boat and camper/caravan supplies with a wide range. The narrow manually operated lock for the canal boats is an extra attraction on the doorstep. Downside is nearby busy M6 with a lot of noise at night.

Neat CP with free electricity and clean rest area. The tourist office was still open and offers all information about the region. The town has little to offer. Bakery at 150 meters. CP only has 4 places and therefore fills up quickly. Many arrive late and try to park elsewhere in the small parking lot, but that turns out to be very crooked and difficult.
Sitecode: 101348
nice CP without facilities. Entrance between two hedges is quite narrow. Almost flat grass area. Nice view but the road runs right past it. Very quiet after 7pm. Excellent (free) alternative to the CP a few hundred meters away.

The small parking lot is widely used by locals to go to the fort area. There are many picnic areas with barbecue facilities. Campers quickly get in the way here. One or two not too large campers is still possible. Too many campers here will possibly quickly lead to conflicts and frustration.

Quiet parking lot (end of May) on the lake. No amenities but nice view of the lake. In the vicinity of some (holiday homes) where the Swedes enjoy the peace and space during the weekend. All in all good accommodation options for the self-sufficient campers.
Sitecode: 99150
Excellent overnight stay at this parking lot, especially if you are right on the water and have a beautiful view. Also at this time of the year already completely filled with mainly Swedes and Norwegians (weekend) with camper / caravan. Pay with apps such as EasyPark (international version!) or ticket from a machine. We paid approx. 80 cents 😁

Wonderfully quiet parking lot during this period. Fairly level pitches on a beautiful lake. No amenities; garbage container only. Was only there today.

As mentioned earlier, well suited for an overnight stay in transit, but now costs € 23 p / night. Then including electricity, but if you do not need it, the price is a bit high.

Camper place in beautiful park-like surroundings. Close to main road but quiet at night. Parking on grass. Fairly flat but can be muddy in case of heavy rain. Water in sani column still closed (21 Mar. ) Cassette toilet can be emptied but not flushed now. Gray water can also be discharged. Nice restaurant was closed today. All in all nice CP.

At the end of March this turned out to be a wonderfully quiet parking lot for the camper. We stood alone and enjoyed the fantastic view of the Pyrenees. Perfectly silent night. No facilities (only waste container) but an excellent stop for self-sufficient campers.
Sitecode: 101340
Excellent CP with 8 clearly marked parking spaces, which may be a bit on the tight side for campers > 7.5 meters. Free electricity for which a triangular key is required to open the power box at the location. Some cupboards were open. Some local traffic during the day; dead silent evening and night (not even dogs 😁). Great!
Sitecode: 86196
Great parking space with 0% facilities but 100% view and (early March) wonderfully quiet. On summer days probably very busy with beach visits. Authentic small village with a few bars / restaurant and a very minimalistic shop. All in all a very nice place.
Sitecode: 29490
Fairly neat with some nice van places with an unobstructed view of the dune edge. Simple grooming facilities. Beach with beautiful walks and spectacular waves. Village has not much to offer. small supermarket and some cafes and restaurants. Nice terrace / restaurant at the camper place. On weekends CP is very busy with Portuguese people. All in all recommended.
Sitecode: 74544
Neat CP with a nice view, but unfortunately not all facilities were working at the beginning of February. Also at that time partly populated by Portuguese 'long-term parkers', including with a caravan. No disturbance experienced and very quiet night.
Sitecode: 68813
Neat, well-lit parking lot on the beach. Only waste bins and cold showers (surfers shower). At the beginning of February very quiet and a great place to stay with the sound of the surf as a lullaby.
Sitecode: 73423
Neat parking lot on the border river. No amenities. Fairly level and mostly paved pitches. Nice location for lunch stop. Staying overnight in transit will also be possible.
Sitecode: 93198
Fantastic view of a quiet car park at this time of year. Only a single local hiker. This night had a lot of wind that shakes the camper. Only waste bin and further so no facilities but the location is great!
Sitecode: 78245
What a beautiful place with magnificent views of the sea on one side and Picos on the other. Very quiet during this period with only a few other campers and some locals to walk along the beautiful coast. Well Scottish and crooked grass area. All in all a great camper place.
Sitecode: 56636
All the nice reviews are correct. Excellent motorhome with super neat facilities and top caretaker. Environment is nice for a day but otherwise has not much to offer. All in all great place!
Sitecode: 83046
Spacious pitches on a neatly maintained camper place. Electricity and water with coins available in a machine on site (debit card). Well-kept community!
Sitecode: 1334
Well maintained, quiet motorhome in a small town. Discharging gray water and emptying the toilet is possible, but tapping water is not possible in January. Turning the water tap into a well also did not yield any water…. All in all, a great CP thanks to the municipality.
Sitecode: 23920
Special parking space for campers, part of a large P-place in the center on the river. Payment at parking meter (also contactless payment or with debit card). No amenities. Evening and night was very quiet. £8 for motorhome. (Dec 2022)
Sitecode: 102244
Large lawn at farm a stone's throw from Lands End. In accordance with information on the site, it will be open in December, but with limited facilities. Care is possible and very friendly and helpful owner. Great pub 5 minutes walk. 21 pounds without power (Dec 2022).
Sitecode: 62104
Challenging road to a motorhome on a beautiful coast that is probably in a prime location, but unfortunately at the beginning of December 2022 we ended up in front of a padlocked gate. So NOT open all year round. Unfortunately.
Sitecode: 84525
Excellent motorhome with beautiful views. Facilities slightly dated but neat and clean and no extra costs. Very friendly 3n helpful owners. Will close for the first few months in January & February 2023 due to (power) costs. December 2022 price was £20 per night (without power)
Sitecode: 75170
Great camper place. Neatly maintained 'hardstandings' and neat toilets, etc. No possibility for gray water discharge, but emptying chemical toilets. Pub with good food and drink and friendly staff. Please note: rate varies greatly per period. Also in winter period sometimes 'high season' price. Lowest rate without power is £20 (2022)
Sitecode: 56046
Please note: on December 2, this location was unfortunately closed during the entire winter season. Just like many other accommodation options in Cornwall.
Sitecode: 11077
Excellent motorhome with a pleasant view of the Hollandse IJssel and many passing boats. Book well in advance because it is very popular and therefore fully booked quickly. Pitches 020 to 022 are a bit further away from the facilities but are the quietest 3 places.
Sitecode: 102063
Nice campsite in a lovely, quiet location. The campsite reopened in mid-May 2022 and offers new and spotless sanitary facilities.
