Quite a large parking lot, with free parking, but it feels a bit like illegal parking... there are no facilities except a garbage can. The village is easily accessible on foot. The straight road alongside it invites you to experiment with racing, both by car and motorcycle. Quiet at night. A supermarket is a short walk away; it's probably about 500 meters. It's fine for overnight stays, but otherwise, it's rather dull.

Arrived late in the afternoon, had a spot but no outlet. Easily accessible, good ground. A bit of a warehouse feel. Why so many people come here... electricity, perhaps? Seems safe to me, with so many people there. Everything seems neat and tidy. Just fine for an overnight stay. For excursions or otherwise, I don't know. No beautiful views. I'll move on tomorrow; there's so much more...

Well located, quiet at night, yet all kinds of nice things within walking distance, shopping street, castle (steep uphill), but try to walk along the river, behind the castle. Beautiful nature and you can bathe in the river here and there, not deep but nice next to a small waterfall. We spent 2 pleasant days/nights here. Recommended! Thanks to the municipality for maintaining this.

Some disappointment, so only 2*. In itself 4 good places, but 1 permanently occupied by young Norwegian couple. They ran generator from 18-19 hours. Furthermore many dogs, also poop everywhere, while it is cleaner elsewhere. Picnic tables next to it but young people come there to smoke and hang around. So only the center with narrow streets remains nice. Little entertainment, but quiet at night. Garbage bin overflowing (weekend) but emptied Monday morning. all added up: no.

If it were open definitely 4 stars. Rural, farm sounds, nice village. Locals in old place, so that you can't miss it, but don't worry, you don't want that either. Good parking in the street to the new camper place, there were a few others. Due to road works now a bit difficult to get to but it will work out.

really nice place, easy to reach, streets wide enough, a few nasty thresholds you have to take calmly. then beautiful view, park lengthwise or crosswise, there was now a lot of space available at the beginning of December. some sports fields with some life, but very quiet at night. well lit. safe feeling. no poop on the sidewalk, but exhaust area. going here is definitely worth it. Spar supermarket at 450 meters, little choice in bread.

A bit messy, terrain with holes, curbs indicate a section. Very long, but narrow sections, nice for trailers. Care a bit cramped and not fresh. For waste a long walk, because the terrain is fenced off. And that while Spain has garbage containers everywhere. A night's stay is fine, and if you can get a nice spot you have a view of the mountains, see photo. Quite busy, even at the end of November.

11 beautiful places, easily accessible, unfortunately almost full every day, because the 8 electricity points are free. So the last 3 miss out, me too. Some campers seem to be there permanently, no one in or out, electricity of course (parasites). Place is quite nice, also within walking distance. Slept peacefully at night, safe feeling. Usual neighborhood noise in the morning, not very annoying. I stayed 1 night, others seem to want to stay longer.

Only 2 stars, because the pillars were closed. Why? Not winter yet... No water, no electricity, but wifi, there are 5 beautiful places, watch out for the trees with large campers, but it was (mid-November) also deserted. Didn't stay. In the summer it might be a great place.

A modern, fresh camper parking, located on the edge of an authentic village, and with excellent facilities. Drive via the main road below, do not go into a steep street. Drive to the western border where the houses stop, and turn off there, it goes up quite steeply with 3 bends but it is really possible, even with 7 meters. You will find 5 nice flat places, well located, with some view, and a lovely village. More info in 2nd review.

Sad little grass field next to a large boring parking lot. Water from the tap works, there is nothing else, despite the sign. There is a waste hole, but it is covered in leaves. No garbage can in sight. Fairly busy road nearby. Better to park in the large parking lot that was almost empty, now October 21, 2024.

Still 4 stars because you are in the big city close to where it all takes place. hard sand large area. NB. The big party takes place here 2 weeks after Easter, so everything has to be cleared in the run-up. that doesn't make it any less of a place for the rest of the year!

Just find out which exit from the roundabout you should take. Just before you cross the narrow bridge. Paid places in a bend above the wastewater gutter; not great, but power is possible. It is better to stand all the way down, and walk up there for free but no E. Bakery on the left, on the main street. Have a drink in the pay café: you get a large glass of 10-year-old Port for a fair price. Even if you are free 😀

Parking on the street, easy but indeed a bit noisy. 3 pitches on a slight slope, 3 more on terraces behind the hedge, a slightly better location in my opinion. Bakery / lunchroom 100 meters away, good and cheap. Free WiFi there. Good toilet block, free electricity and water, so quite luxurious. shame about the traffic, but no nuisance at night. Safe feeling, lanterns in the night. unfortunately also dog poop which you can hardly see because of the small vowels

Was closed at the end of November and access was closed off with crush barriers. Didn't want to stand there, but saw this when I could stand next to it in the street. Got a tip from there. About 20 meters north-east is a slightly sloping forest path, sufficiently hard on the ground and wide enough to turn around. There was already 1 wild parker with his camper. there can be up to 5 campers there. No comments, just a good night's sleep. walkers everywhere.

Due to the presence of the beautiful brasserie, it still deserves 4 stars. Easily accessible, slightly better surface above than below and also a view of the party lights. I was there at the end of November. trains don't really bother traffic either. I liked the beer from our own brewery, definitely recommended. free WiFi, ask for the code at the bar. Connection is also possible outside if you are standing above, on the right. There is an instruction sign at the driveway where to park

A bit of a nasty parking lot indeed, but it was full of campers and that is good for safety. I grabbed a free spot on the triangular square, next to which there was indeed a circus tent. If you just want to spend the night, that is fine, not noisy, but a lot of litter.

Next to the cemetery, a good and quiet overnight stay. Despite some rain and easy to reach in early December, no mud or anything. Very cold, no shelter or residual heat from a city. Just fine when passing through.

Stopped here after visiting Sad Hill. We took a detour because we crossed the mountain on a dirt road with your camper in the winter... a bit too risky. It had also rained. But here at the monastery there is a lot of peace and atmosphere, beautiful bells ringing but no singing was heard. Quiet and quite cold, it is quite high. great overnight stay here. Arrived here after driving from PueblaSanabria, which was a downer. Not here. Big, open, a bit boring, camera surveillance, gas station so trucks, but so what. noise pollution is not too bad. Didn't visit the restaurant, do you have a camper? Great for an overnight stay in transit and affordable fuel when you go to Portugal. Not the cheapest gas station, but branded fuel, also worth something

Was here in 2021, nice near the lawn and sanitary building and shop within walking distance. It's gone now, you can stand 700 meters away, big, boring, barriers and a fence around it. It looks like a prison. The instruction terminal showed amounts but the barriers were open. Didn't even consider it, drove straight away. Bye, nice place... so don't come here anymore

Arrived here but found it boring. clean and clear and almost next to the supermarket. I drove on to Puebla de Sanabria and really regretted it, so I'll just stay here for a night and skip PdS, how nasty there while it used to be beautiful, but things have changed there. So next time it will be Benavente for me.

Ended up here because of other reviews. Really good, but some long-term parkers are a bit ADO. don't stand next to them, you'll recognize them right away. Register at a gas station and you will receive an A4 instruction with codes. then you can go to the absolutely beautiful sanitary building, where you can shower and get good hot water for 6 minutes for 2 euros, although the approach was still cold for about half a minute. If you have all your stuff ready, it's doable.
