disgusting. fresh water pipe not there. the other pipes are just not touchable for human hands . Grey water drain blocked. Need to bring own hose for rinsing casette, and for freshwater. Fw is in cupboard on the righthand side. (ie only one fw outlet). No grate/similar for greywater. Station somewhat ignored by owner (like so many stations) but it works.

Gravel ground, no facilities, and now a sign saying NO CAMPING! shame on you, Ålesund. Could have been nice place for beach and fishing from bridge.

Can't find water, can't find electrics. Noisy, being next to main road. View OK, but 150 nok for no facilities on a sloping tarmac is a joke.

Works fine 21/6/2020, bit tricky to get over greywater drain with long vehicle. Need to hold pushbutton in continously for both fresh and rinse water.

Great place to stay, free, trash bin. This is a typical Norwegian 'friområde', a recreations place for everyone. Guess gets very busy with locals at weekends & holidays. Public toilets 350m towards naze, where many resting places, bbq possibilities. Swimming poss on high tide.

19/6/20: The lot has now been blocked with cement bollards to prevent parking on quayside. 2 other nice (better) sites are nearby.

Worked fine 17june20, but note that some people have dumped toilet in greywater disposal on floor. DON'T!! The facility has own toilet emptying with water for cleaning casette etc. Fresh water is on wall opposite (garage wall). Note, on southbound E6 this is last free facility for hundreds of kms.

Convenient stopover on E6. No walks, biking etc. No facilities except bin in layby. Gravel standing with some larger stones, mostly flat. No length problem. Nice view over sea and mountains.

Great peaceful place overlooking harbour, fjord and mountains. Quiet night, stayed 2 nights, facilities OK for no cost. Lots of walking and cycling around, locals very friendly and helpful. 2 supermarkets 400 m away. Well worth stopping and enjoying .

Overrated and overpriced, when owner asks you to not use facilities. Get more staff to clean then! Reception staffed 30 mins in evening by youngster who charges for everything without checking, asking. There are many better facilities, at less (or no) cost in the area. Instead of intention of 7 days here, we spent one day.

Only 8 stars due to no water or greywater emptying. However, this cleaning machine is SUPER. Put in cassette, press start, and it comes out clean in a min or 2. With right amount of water and chemicals. Wish they were everywhere! Just remember to fill water elsewhere. Nice walk around, and view of lake. Normal toilet and for handicapped, with easy access. For what it has, I give it 10.

Nicely laid out parking for mobile homes, also overflow for buses. Nearly flat. Actual parking is to the side of main 2 carparks, see sign/picture. Further from main road than main carparks. Museum now open, and incl vikingskip etc. Great place to visit, for all the family.

Lovely place by the fjord, roughly 15 places for mob homes & caravans. Spacious plots. 200 kr, electric +50 per day. 4 'comfort' places with view out fjord kr 350 incl El. Very good showers and facilities which included, also washing machine and tumbler included. Bring detergent. Frequent cleaning (2020), sanitizers placed. Work on 4 more showers/toilets in reception block. We'll worth a visit.

24may20: entrance blocked with scrap. Surely mohomes not wanted. Altern stop at entrance by info place, but we went 200m back, turn right to quayside called Brennholmvalen on map (no sign). Storeyard for offshore industry, nobody around. Fishing possible from quayside.

21may 2020.snowcovered, no chance to park. Aprx 1.5m snow. Wait at least 2 weeks for it to melt.

Parking at sports Hall (Rosenborg fc). Near popular recreational forest walks, lakes etc which popular with locals. No sign of restaurant(where did you get that from)? Lovely walks. 2 toilets at end of parking lot. Quiet place.

20may20: Closed. Could be due to night temps still below freezing. upon revisiting today 21may20, the facility is now open for the season. Slight leakage in water supply, but not a problem (apart from getting wet). An added plus, next to water, 2m away, is a free weighbridge.

Well signposted off E16, approx 2-3km, clean facility, grey and Blackwater in same drainhole in middle. Easy to stop, turn,and get out. Remember to rinse drain for next visitor

16/5-20, all working OK. Bearmind need 3edged waterhose key, or pliers or similar for fresh water

13/5/20, toilets closed (covid-19?) water off. Lovely place, peaceful, lovely lake and beach. 2nd visit

Feb '20, seems a tank dumped in front of station for no reason. For greywater it is easier to drop in outside washbay 10m away.

Water taps destroyed, water turned off. Greywater in drain on road. Sewage drain closed.

Price Jan '20 is Euro 23.50 for motorhome. 5% discount for ACSI members (site not in ACSI 2020 book). Quiet place in countryside, although some pitches are near the 340. For last 100 meters follow your views, not Satnav. Sanitary facilities seems clean, OK, but men's toilet block overcondensated due lack of ventilation. Plenty of clean warm showers . Quite a few overwinterers, many British.

Most said before... Update Dec '19: Eroski supermarked/mall shut down. Water for cleaning cassette off. Spar shop ok, staff friendly. Toilets locked (guess you need key from shop) except men' s urinal. Otherwise OK stopover, and close to town for sightseeing and shopping. El Corte Inglés 10 min walk.

1st Nov 19, still open, 6 campers here. Parking is through gate on left side of building, at the back. Sanitary out of order, seems to have been for a long time. Guid Camperstops says place open year round.

30 Oct 19, place is closed, with bar at each side. Understand why, it is a soggy pitch. States 'private property'. Please correct in open times, can first one arriving in season 2020 update opening times please?

Functional, not pretty. Lid to chem waste loose. Separate water for rinsing cassette not working . Water spout is Hozelok type, not screw-on. 3 euro, by card, for 100 liter.

Note - Water spout untreaded. You need 3 hands to fill, 2 for spout and holding tap in, one for hose to tank.

Oct 2019, electricity and tallycard can be bought from harbour master's office 9-10am weekdays. Dkk 100, 50 elec, 25 deposit, 25 cost. Tallycard access separate toilet/shower room, shower with tallycard 10 Dkk. Blackwater in rubbish area, fw off quayside, no official g/w. Ebeltoft a wonderful town, lots for kids, walking, biking; fresh fish/shellfish off 'Margrethe' 50m from parking on Fridays.

Water ok. Greywater ok. Blackwater hole overflowing (20/10-19), someone has put Blackwater down greywater disposal with paper left unflushed. Hose is not there anymore.

20aug19, water stand behind recycling bins, but officially there is no water, thus no means to rinse cassette after emptying. Slightly noisy carpark. Nice quaint town, fruit n veg/meat Market Wednesday mornings in town Square. Nice place for biking, walking.

Noisy, as expected on supermarket carpark. Positive: biggest LeClerc we've ever seen. Negative: grey waste free, black 2 euro. Thus grey waste line clogged, with black waste coming up when emptying grey. Disgusting. Not maintained, thus only paying lipservice to mobile home holidayers, but seems happy to take your weekly shopping money.

Great peaceful place, great alternative to Cahors, only 7-8 km bikeride. Good views over farmland. Also good for walking. Old castle, which had a concert when we visited 26july19. Sanitary system clean. Will revisit.

26july19, we arrived too late, 3 places taken, plus 3 along road. Filled water, emptied back, OK, but facilities dirty. Entrance with 7.5m van would be difficult. Van no 7 parked up when we filled, they partly blocked main car park. We moved to Labastide-marnhac, a lovely peaceful place only 7-8km away.

There is no site here. After 30 mins researching the wineshop (shutters down) , outbuildings etc, there are no people around at 5pm (within normal opening time), no sign of water facilities etc. Take this site off please, to save people from wasting time. Moved to wine cooperative in Saint Laurent de la Cabrerisse, friendly place, decent wines, nice village.

'Sardine city'... Probably OK for a night stay, but as it was almost full, and most slots can only accommodate short campers, we had to leave. Looks like 5-6 slots OK for 7.5m/+. Probably OK for a day by the sea with the kids, as beach short walk away. Facilities unchecked, but from view, our 7.5m van would not fit the greywater bay. For majority slots, you need BIG blocks to be level. 12July'19

Convenient stopover for the motorway, next to motorway, not far from station either. Small town, unexciting in my view. See other comments reg complaints from locals about early parking, so why do they use the spaces themselves? See picture. Authorities should clear this up, if mobile homes can't use it before 5pm, locals should NOT use spaces after 5pm.

This place is now paid for, except 4 hours free, overnight max 20 hours approx 4-5 euro, over 20 hours aprx 11 euro. Spaces too narrow for comfort ly leaving van. Only positive is that it is near town for a quick sightseeing, flee thereafter.

Reasonably quiet parking on parking lot outside library. Road nearby not too busy. Plenty of spaces, also in carpark. Facilities work fine in July 19.

Excellent stopover, well maintained, clean facilities and surroundings, lawn, flowers etc. Pity about roadworks barring the normal entry (June '19), follow diversion signs or route described by others. Well worth the extra drive.
