A bit near a noisy road. The tram T1 stop is on the far side of Carrefour but easy to walk, and gets you to the centre of Besançon. Carrefour sells everything. parking is large. campsite restaurant was ok. friendly and uncomplicated. Toilets etc all ok. Once again we were disappointed that nothing of interest is available to dog owners. Even in a 'pushchair' . Big dogs aren't even allowed on trams, little ones only in a carrier. plot shady & ok

Excellent but really expensive. useful there is the huge washing machine system. Buses pass very frequently, and they can take you to the edge of the lovely old town. Better value for money is Camping de L'Ill, just down the road where water, toilets, electricity etc is included in the price. We had to use the expensive parking for a visit to the vet. it was an expensive visit.

very pleasant and quiet here. The owner was immediately friendly and we enjoy peace and quiet here. we haven't tested the sanitary facilities yet, but if they're awful, I'll add them to the review. It seems to be just what we like here.

pleasant and shady. yes, a bit 'French' in the toilets. The toilets have seats, not all campsites have them, but no toilet paper. Be prepared. we first went to Camping Moulin in Wihr au Val but it was a no-go for us. a huge field, one electric station in the middle and reception closed, so we came here, and don't regret it.

a short walk away is a Volg supermarket, which also has generous parking for a campervan. good for stocking up.
