At the CP of Coimbra, a Portuguese advised me not to use the "facilities" on the spot (indeed: too dirty for words) but to divert to the CP in Condeixa. I was there on Friday November 2, 2018 and the service place was almost completely blocked by error parkers; one of them had just parked his car in the empty spot. It was a market day, but still ... driven to Condeixa for nothing.

The "camper service point" is really a shame, and certainly for a city of this allure. My advice: come with a full fresh water tank, because he does not want to pour "fresh" water! Place for dozens of campers and they can do it with one tap for everything. Rinsing your toilet tank, supposedly then, with a plastic bottle that needs to be filled from that same tap. You'll rarely encounter something like that.

Stayed here on November 2, 2017. Very unwell until 23:00. Shout (drunk roar even) from the park. And the neighboring plain apparently invites you to car tires. Water by push button faucet with oval outlet. Better to Palma de Rio.

Please look for the service site. It can be found at the closet with the blue doors in the center of the playground.

Please note the correct entrance to the campsite. And watch out for the bolts that are on the ground or from the wooden blocks that should / should mark the places.

No fresh water and no rinse water on October 27, 2017. The place of service started to smell stinky ....

The assumption that one should be obliged to dine in the adjacent restaurant seems to me nothing more than an assumption: on the one hand, the route to the parking place is marked without reservation, and on the other hand, it is not stated on the spot that it would be a private parking lot . The restaurant was closed at the end of October 2017.

The service pit was surrounded by so much filth on September 25, 2017, that I even refrained from emptying the toilet tank, let me think it was a good idea to clean water here. Another tip for who to visit the Bardenas Reales: Take the entrance to the area at Arguedas and ask the information center for the road condition!

No water on September 26, 2017!

Clearly no expert by experience been at work. The CP has cost more than 50,000 euros (eu subsidy?) All sites run diagonally (!) On a gradient. The waterless place is so laid sloped that the wastewater can only run away on the tarmac and therefore apparently referred grille fog. Furthermore, only one tap, so any chance of bacterial infection from taking fresh water.
