okayish. bit cramped. allthough not super small pitches. clean sanitary but not a lot. lots of biking options. and wijchen and nijmegen relatively close by. if you are unlucky the YMCA hosts a noisy group of youth.

large pitches. quiet and tranquil despite the nearby small airport and motorway. descent and clean sanitary. friendly welcome. nice farmshop with nice selection cheese meat (for bbq) and local beer and honey and such.

pitches of various sizes. but all quite comfortable. okay sanitary (bit odd placed on a ‘hill’). local village has nothing. but plenty of bike options and options a bike ride away.

beautifully landscaped campsite in rural surroundings on the edge of the village. nice diversity of places. excellent sanitary facilities. Gemert is a charming village. fine catering. good restaurant next to the campsite (reservation!) the morning coffee with the guests is a pleasant way to get tips about Gemert and other rural campsites.

perfectly run city camping. not big pitches but good if you want to visit the city or a bikeride in the area. clean and enough sanitary facilities. restaurant on the campsite is highly recommended. great (local) german ‘deftiges’ cuisine and super service by the chef.

pleasant reception. spacious pitches. neat and clean sanitary facilities. restaurant very simple cuisine (not necessarily recommended but sufficient for one evening). supermarkets nearby (10 min bike). environment beautiful for walking and cycling. village nice for a short visit.

Enormous spacious places on top of the mountain with beautiful panoramic views. Good, new, clean and spacious sanitary. perfect location for walks and bike rides in beautiful unesco nature reserve (as short and long and difficult or easy as you want). tiny shop on the campsite for the most needed. bakery in village (a few minutes by bike) and in a village further down also a supermarket. Very picturesque area (nature and villages). sympathetic people (campsite and village). Quiet campsite. stayed here much longer than planned. perfect.

surprisingly large campsite hidden in the woods. Despite size still quiet and reasonable places (not too spacious but fine) and lots of variation in places. Great restaurant with German cuisine and sympathetic service. Sanitary tidy but with few toilets / showers (1 central block) for so many places (by the way, there is no insistence there). Braunlage is a beautiful tourist village with many facilities (a half-hour walk to the center or 10 minutes by bike). Beautiful cycling and walking possibilities from the campsite as far or as close as you want. Would definitely visit again on occasion.

sympathetic, fairly spacious places (many also on the river). plumbing idd outdated but clean. Nice large terrace / beer garden but the restaurant is unfortunately not too good: like the frozen wholesale snitzel and the apple strudel still half frozen. Something can easily be improved there. We like to be lazy and do not often cook on our own holidays, but now we are going to cook ourselves: (nice environment and nice sympathetic village within half an hour (nice bike route). it is pretty intense when such a unit rushes past (sometimes every 15 minutes) Potentially a great quiet camp site in a beautiful location, but because there is little to do in the area and camping on site by the trains and moderate restaurant. restless to relax and relaxed doing nothing / reading a book we stayed only 2 nights.
